“Great location & A great host Unfortunately there is no air con and the heat at night made it very difficult to sleep at night. The bedroom we had was small. The other 2 larger bedrooms had sliding doors on to a balcony, which you could leave open at night for some air flow. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs in total 1x double-1 x twin smaller rooms with little air flow. 2x larger rooms with sliding doors to balconies Great breakfast too. ”

“Very good reception service. We check in at 7:30 as that was too late to check in, the reception still opened for us. Room was very clean and tidy which has a nice view to enjoy Mossel Bay. The free breakfast was delicious.”

“spotless, comfortable and will be back”

“What a wonderful experience. Accommodation was exceptional. Restaurant was better than some Michelin Starred places we have visited. Food was out of this world. What a gem of a place. Thanks also to Ben.”

“Friendly walkable and relaxing. Exceptional experience”

I asked about breakfast and was led to believe that was doubtful and being able to invite a guest not allowed! My previous stay at Cherry Berry provided a delicious breakfast for me and my roommate and a generous willingness to invite a friend to join us. We ate in the garden and were delighted at……

“Water damage on the ceiling, causing it to look rundown, paint was peeling. Air conditioning was not working. They did offer us a fan after we tried to use the AC, which tripped the power. After that, they let us know per message that we shouldn’t use the AC. ”

“Excellent service with a personal touch during our stay. The food and facilities are great with lots of character and space. We can certainly recommend Die Waenhuis!”
