「Excellent accommodation in an old building, loved the slopey floors and low ceilings. Luxury bathroom with bath and spacious shower. Great location, had a lovely meal in the Angel a 2 minute walk away, proper pub! Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Overall fantastic place to stay」

「環境清幽，食物美味，接待人員彬彬有禮，有問必答。可惜房間在地面一層，又面向外街，天氣熱時，由於房內沒有空調，故未能打開窗戶透氣，單靠兩座風扇，有點悶熱。網絡接駁時常中斷。」

「Stayed at the hotel as I was attending a birthday party in nearby Earls Colne. The hotel was easy to find and location to the village was excellent. Staff were so helpful from check in to check out. Was a slight issue with my room during my stay but this was sorted expeditiously by the duty manager and housekeeping. Would recommend a stay here and would certainly stay again next time I visit the area. 」

「We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

「The only thing that spoilt my 5 night stay was the chair in the rooms that I have used over a period of time at the Bull, they are so uncomfortable. They are not ideal for sitting on for a short / long period during an evening spent in your room watching TV. A bucket type chair would be better..」

「Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area」
