“Very peaceful neighborhood and the space was as described. I would definitely stay again. The space is a walk-out lower level of the host's home with a nice view thanks to Dubuque's topography. The sink to was dishes is the bathroom sink, which was no problem at all for me but is worth knowing. Grateful for the peace and quiet.”

“This apartment is very clean and has a cozy feel; the host was also very responsive and friendly. I cooked in the kitchen and it had all the utensils I needed, and it even had an electric kettle—most places don’t provide for tea drinkers like me! Be aware, though, that the apartment opens almost directly onto a street that large trucks sometimes drive by on, and that there is a back door into a business hallway which only locks with a handle lock (not a deadbolt). “Everything was as pictured in the listing. The host was very responsive and even checked in on me (via message) to make sure everything was going ok. It's an apt, so you may here the other tenants. But I mostly just heard kids playing. Snacks, oatmeal packs, hot chocolate, and drinks were also there for my stay. I felt safe enough as a solo female traveler. I am from the city, so that area of Baton Rouge didn't bother mean. Would stay again.”
