「Pleasant three- or four-storey guesthouse (to call it a hotel would be stretching it) on the steep hillside just a stone’s throw from Kutaisi’s Bagrati Cathedral. The location is both a blessing and a bit of a curse – the main market, bridges, central park and all the city-centre amenities are just 10–15 minutes’ walk away, but getting up to the hotel means a climb of more than 100 steps (or you can use the winding road). Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, but nothing to shout...

Low price for the location was the main attractive point. I found the room quite small and I could hardly place my suitcase in the open space while having to move in the room somehow. The front desk staff member could not identify my payment in the beginning, but this got sorted out. The hotel did not provide soap and AC did not work. I...
