Amazing stay!

This was my first ever rental and my wife and I couldn’t have been happier! The home was beautiful and full of history. The check in/out process was so easy. We will definitely find a reason to travel down and book this place again in the future!

Lovely cottage

Beautiful Historic home

We enjoyed the stay fully. This home is very spacious and we loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with all the items we needed. The location is also very close to the fairgrounds which we spent most of the day. We also were able to walk to a local place callled Red's Wine bar.

We loved the house! Quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the spring-fed public pool and the river. A/C worked extremely well. Very comfortable bed in the front upstairs room.

We had family in for graduation recently and needed additional space. The house was perfect in lieu of our guests stuck in a hotel for five nights. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. Management made the rental process super easy.

This is the second time we have rented the Walnut Cottage while visiting family in Green Cove Springs. The location is perfect for us. Since we stayed two years ago there have been many upgrades: well stocked kitchen, new windows (my husband loved that and I lived the kitchen) even dryer balls in the dryer to help your clothes dry faster. Would recommend this property and we hope to come back in the fall.

Classic old home with lots of character! Have never been in a VRBO that was so well stocked. You don't need to bring anything but your clothes. Comfy beds. Would love to see a taller toilet upstairs like the one on the main level. Need to get the yard in shape, looked pretty rough. Close to the St. Johns river, Friday nite food truck and live entertainment. Would stay again!

Highly recommend

This is quite honestly the nicest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Everything we could’ve possibly needed was available and in working order. Owners were quick to respond. Check in and check out process were trouble free. Beds and showers were luxurious. No pool, but less than an hour drive to saint Augustine beach. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect location in Green Cove Springs!

The house is absolutely beautiful! The very spacious house worked great for my co-worker and myself. We were able to both work on projects in the evening and then enjoy a little down time sitting in one of the outside areas or in the tv /bar area. While we didn’t cook in the kitchen, there is everything you need if you choose to do that. We enjoyed walking to restaurants in the area. The wine bar, Reds, was a great find! Will most definitely stay again when we work here again!

Instant relaxation

The house is clean and very comfortable. We (4 adults) had plenty of room to relax and recharge after a long journey and again after a family wedding. We spent the majority of our time in the dining room and the living room but there were 3 additional seating areas and the bedrooms were luxurious and tranquil. The property and communication exceeded our expectations and made us feel feel like family in the home! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The Walnut House was the absolute best choice for the bride and bridesmaids to have hair/makeup/dress/special moments and it was a big success. Lots of space and quaint surroundings for bride just made her special day all that it should be.The house is beautiful and “ fully” stocked with everything you need.Danielle was so accommodating and goes out of her way to meet your needs. The backyard was the perfect place the night before to host the bridal party to a cookout.You will see that the house has had a very thoughtful person set it up!!Bride & Groom spent their first night as husband & wife at the house because it is a few blocks from beautiful gazebo in the park on the water.

We had a nice time!

It's a great house to temporarily house 2 teens and a younger kid. They got their space and everyone could relax alone if they wanted. Neighborhood felt very safe. Walked to pick up food from local Mexican mart/restaurant and it was delicious! Spring Park is an easy walk east of the house and pretty cool. Too bad the pool wasn't open yet for the year, but pretty unique to see a pool fed by 1,300ga/min warm spring! The back yard is very private. But because the property must've once been more of an event venue, there isn't much grass. Our two older teens were determined to sun bath and they made it work with a couple beach towels we brought from home. I'd recommend just a few cushioned patio long chairs. Overall, it was a great space and we'd return again!

Nice place, poor communication

This is a beautiful place in a great location. Nicely stocked and furnished. Didn't get the check-in code until 30 min before arrival. I emailed, sent text messages, left voice messages, no response. Property manager apologized, but my anxiety level was through the roof by the time she contacted me. Stay was great until internet didn't work. Apparently, provider's end worked great, but wifi in the house was malfunctioning. Thankfully, it was not urgent, but we were planning to work remotely during our stay and that was not so easy. Property manager did refund one night's stay. Hopefully, others will not have these issues.

Girls Trip

Great house downtown Green Cove Springs. Walking distance to a beautiful large park, restaurants and shopping. House is located close to beaches, boating on St Johns and many parks for outdoor activities. Our host Lisa made us feel so welcome from the snacks, breakfast choices, flip flops at the door to extra care to provide with a clean safe environment. I noticed all the little extras tbat made our stay so enjoyable. Two large masters upstairs and a sleeper couch downstairs provided more than enough room. The house has two dressing areas perfect for a group of girls getting ready all at the same time The house is open and has great flow for guests. A large kitchen with everything you need and more. There is a large outdoor space that is completely fenced in with several seating areas to enjoy. Outside at night there is lighting that has great ambience and is a peaceful place. We all fell in love with the area and I expect we all will be coming back if not together as a group but maybe with our families and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home and making our girls trip one of our best memories.

Neat property. Super Communication

We enjoyed our stay. The communication was excellent. The property was clean. The kitchen was well-appointed. There are a couple of things to be aware of about this property. One is that is in a mixed-use area of residential and commercial properties. It is not an issue as far as noise and convenience. It was just a surprise looking at the photos. Also, if you like to watch TV, there isn't one area that accommodates more than a couple of people to view a program together. There is a small set in a sitting area. A suggestion would be to remove the large mirror in the living room and add a set there. If you like to just relax and read as an example, this is not an issue at all.
