"Perfect getaway if you’re looking for quiet and peaceful. Cabin is exactly what it promises. Not too fancy, and a few of the modern renovations they’ve done over the years makes it feel like home. Serene location right on Green Lake. And if you don’t mind some driving, the location is perfect for seeing some sights and exploring the towns. Highly recommend Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. And check out Thunder Hole while you’re there!"

"The three bedroom, 2 full bathroom was a wonderful home! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cooking supplies and the couch & chairs were very comfortable! The views of the lake were wonderful along with spectacular sunsets. We were only approximately 35 min away from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We would definitely recommend this place for a memorable experience. "

"My wife and I have been in the area many times, but this was our first lake house. What a fabulous location! It was so peaceful, with plenty of privacy. The lake is in the back of the house, which faces in a westerly direction so you experience breath-taking sunsets from your private decks (one on the back of the house and another down on the waterfront leading to your private dock). Wildlife abounds! Every time we drove back to the house, we were treated with a nature show, from deer (pretty much daily) to wild turkeys, raccoons, skunks (they are quite lovely as long as you do not startle them :) loons, geese, etc.The host, Mindy, is super responsive, never defensive if you have a problem to resolve, and always cheerful and inviting. 100% would stay here again!"

"Our trip was for a visit reconnecting with family for a long weekend and this 3-bedroom house provided a perfect location setting for our little reunion. The house is a newer construction and was immaculate - hopefully future guests continue to keep it that way. It provided a perfect layout for my mobility challenged mother - only one step up to the porch and rest was all one floor, plenty of open space and wide door openings for her walker. The house was tastefully decorated with plenty of sitting area space and we loved making use of the gas fireplace in the evening. Ceiling fans and TV's w/Roku's in every bedroom and in the master there was even a ductless split AC so we could keep our room as cool as "I" needed. The location was on a fairly busy main road but was set back enough that you didn't even notice. It had plenty of yard space for kids or a dog to safely run around - the surrounded set back woods provided privacy and a picturesque Maine look from the beautiful deck. It was a quick straight shot into the town of Ellsworth and just keep going into beautiful Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park. l feel you are mostly renting VRBO homes on trust & faith of accurate information so I personally find it important the responsiveness of the owner - this owner did not disappoint and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. I look forward to staying at this house in future. My on regret is I didn't get to see a moose wander out of the woods - lol! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Dunn Inn. We spent days on the docks enjoying the sun and swimming. The docks and swim platforms as well as inner tubes and noodles gave lots of options for kids to play. We especially liked the shallow water entry which was perfect for smaller children. My favorite party was the multiple places for hanging outdoors, whether on the lawn overlooking the water or up on the deck which provided shade for most of the day. The owners do an excellent job of making renters feel at home. Cozy, soft beach towels to toiletries should you forget any of the basics, it was lovely. Kitchen is super functional and open to one of the living rooms, allowing the cook to be social. We mostly bbq’d on the front deck which is also close to the kitchen and very convenient to have. We loved our stay and hope to be back at some point :) "

"Bob & Terry could not have been warmer or kinder hosts, and we had an amazing visit. Our only regret is that we wish we were staying longer! The property is beautiful, and the facilities are great quality. They clearly put a lot of love into this place. We reached out when we were close by, and they came out to greet us, showed us around the rooms, etc. They’re staying next door & we share the laundry & dishwasher space. We didn’t spend as much time at the house, so we just ended up hand washing the dishes, but it was great to have the option. We couldn’t recommend this space or these hosts more - both are wonderful."
