I made my reservation through Expedia. For whatever reason, when I arrived, the hotel had no record of it. Candice, the guest service manager, took an hour of her own time to sit with me and work with Expedia, resolving the problem. Excellent customer service!

Because we booked through Expedia we were told that they couldn't give us a room upgrade as a way to handle the poor condition of the first two rooms we were given. We were told this after the first rooms they put us in had faulty a/c units. They apparently found it in their hearts to finally get us a good room. All was fine until the people directly above us arrived back from the bar at 2:45am and proceeded to stomp around for 1-1/2 hours. When they did finally start sleeping off their stupor we were awakened by what turned out to be a false fire alarm. The whole experience left us turned off completely to Hampton Inns (and perhaps Hilton) and a little peeved about the way Expedia bookers are treated.

Website description of room said sleeper sofa but no rooms had that. Property did have a rollaway so that was fine. Family two doors down allowed kids to run the hallways and continued to yell at them while we tried to sleep but when I finally opened the door and asked them to settle down the tweens we respectful. Breakfast selection was good, but eggs were really bland and coffee was weak.

The only complaint about the hotel is that it is or was an obvious smoking facility. The smoke smell on the 3rd floor was so bad that my wife’s asthma flared up and sinuses were plugged. The room itself had a deodorizer that wasn’t much better, even though it was supposedly a smoke-free room. Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about. Quite disappointing for $175 room. On a positive note, room was clean and beds were super comfortable. Expedia ratings were good but the Google ratings were more accurate.

The staff at this property were amazing. I called on them after hour and they took care ofthe issue. Breakfast was wonderful and i thought the hotel was quiet even though it was sold out.

The check-in staff was professional. The room was disappointing for several reasons. There was a very bad odor in the room. The cover to the air unit was not on, it was on the floor. The coffee maker did not have the filter attachment so no coffee could be made in the room. Glad there was coffee in the lobby. And, the shower head was not properly attached so a shower could not be taken without a lot of inconvenience and water everywhere. When I checked out, I brought all of these things to the attention of the front desk staff, and including the fact that I was given a handicap room, which I’m still not clear why that happened. The person at the front desk check-out did not seem to care that these issues happened. I was in town for a family funeral. I just needed a restful place to stay. I understand that the property will be undergoing a renovation. It is much needed. Hopefully this will improve the quality of the property.

Everything was normal except the room temperature. The room stayed at 79° the ENTIRE time no matter what we did. Fan, AC, lowered temp to 64°, NOTHING helped.

Our biggest disappointment was the "pet friendly" rating. The Hampton Inn last night had a $50 fee and the Comfort Inn tonight had a $75 pet fee. Both motels were no charge for service animals, which are not pets. Please differentiate between service animals and pets in your listings in the future, and prominently display the fees for pets.

Family time
Hotel was great. Great location Rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast on the other hand not so good. We left and ate at a restaurant. Food didn’t look that great.

Room they gave me wouldnt open. "Upgrade" they gave was a strange meeting room with a murphy bed and an office round tabke set up. No king bed, tv too far away and room is huge and technical. Not good for sleeping. I probably wont sleep. Sad after driving all day.

Picture of room described not what was given, sheets on bed were inside out and would not stay on corners on bed. Mattress pad also on inside out. No warm water, just barely warm to take a shower. Wasn’t asked how my stay was. Will not be back. Worst Hampton I have ever stayed at.
