“We absolutely loved Zelda Dearest. This place has quickly become our go-to when we’re in Asheville — the 1920s vibe, the atmosphere, the staff — all of it just works. Breakfast was fantastic and the perfect way to start the morning before heading out to explore downtown. The location is great too, easy walking distance to everything. If you haven’t stayed here yet, you’re missing out. We’ll definitely be back.”

“From arrival to departure, everything was wonderful here. From complimentary glass of wine at check in, to the friendly valet upon leaving we were treated like valued friends. Loved the rooftop bar. And the speakeasy in the basement was a gem. We will be back!”

“The room was very nice. Bathroom was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Continental breakfast brought up to the room was a great morning surprise. Location obviously was convenient to everything. Only complaint is that the free play arcade was awesome, but machines were not that well maintained. Both pinball machines and one of the skeeball machines needed maintenance. Didn’t help that a couple parents were letting their kids run amok and climb all over the……

“Big room. Clean. Very unique. Quiet. *However, one end of the hotel is where trash pickup is and one morning, it was like 5 am and very loud-beeping and picking up the big dumpsters & slamming. That was my only complaint. It didn’t make sense that it was that early. ”

“Rooms are spacious, wonderfully appointed with soft robes and good coffee. Very comfortable beds. The location is perfect, close to shops, spas, breweries, restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. ”

“The staff was amazing - friendly and ready to help. Enjoyed the food and the bar. Only amenity I wish was available was an indoor pool which is hard to find in the area. Honestly, great stay and would absolutely go back!”

“Breakfast was sonething different each morning. Fresh fruit, meat, frittata, coffee, juice were all excellent. Room was veey comfortable and we appreciate the upgrade where we had our own porch.”

“This hotel is right in downtown Asheville, near wonderful restaurants & terrific art collections, also the shops on Lexington Avenue. You can walk to everything (but need to drive to Biltmore Estate.) Haywood Park hotel was an historic Bon Marche department store so the rooms are spacious as are the hallways. Extremely helpful staff. Do be aware that if you have a car you will be required to use their Valet Parking which I mistakenly thought was $22 per day but which in fact was $22 every time……

“A beautiful house over 100 years old and perfectly restored. It was a joy to spend time there. The woman who manages it was just delightful! We can't wait to go back and experience another of the rooms.”
