Villa in the vines sits atop fields upon fields of vineyards, just off to the west you can see the sea as the villa is near Grosetto in the coastal region of Tuscany. The villa is next to Maremma park which includes almost 10,000 hectares of some of the wildest and most intact land in Italy. Vistitors can walk, horseback ride, cylcle or canoe their way around the park. An excellent opportunity for nature lovers! Approaching the villa guests can appreciate the garden with its beautiful landscaping and many varieties of local plants and flowers. The pool is exceptional and is made up of two pools and a jacuzzi. Villa in the vines is a newer construction which has all of the charm of a Tuscan home. The colors, tiles and decorations used throughout the house make guests feel at home in a comfortable but modern Tuscan home.
The villa is air conditioned and set on three levels. It can accommodate up to fifteen guests. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room, dining room with seating for sixteen. The kitchen is right off the dining room.
On the second floor there are six bedrooms, each with its own full shower bathroom, satellite television, telephone and safe. A few of the rooms also have refrigerators.
In the lower area of the house there is a large room for gatherings where meals or wine tasting can be arranged with advance notice. There are also billiards.
The gardener/caretaker and cook live in a separate apartment on the property and are available to help the guests and prepare meals upon request.As you enter Villa in the Vines, there is a spacious living room with couches, fireplace, satellite television, and a stereo system. There is a guest bathroom just off the livingroom. Adjoining the living room is a dining room with seating for sixteen. Just off the dining room through French doors is an outside dining area which is covered and looks out onto the garden. In the dining room, guests will find several sets of fine dishes for all occassions. The fully equipped kitchen is off of the dining room. It is complete with oven, stove, microwave, fridge with freezer, coffee machine, and dishwasher. There is a small balcony off of the kitchen. Guests will find a few essentials upon arrival to make settling in more comfortable.
The six bedrooms are all on the second floor. Each room has been carefully decorated and has a different color theme. Each room varies in size. There is one room with a queen size bed, two have queen size beds and a balcony and three of the larger bedrooms have a queen size bed and small living room where there is a sofa bed. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a spacious shower, hair dryer and beautiful tile work. Personal satellite televisions, internet access, fridges, telephones, safes and airconditioning are in each room. The hardwood floors, furniture and colors make each of these rooms unique, comfortable and cozy.
In the daylight basement there is a large gathering room with country style furnishings This area can be used for family gatherings or a special meal that can be prepared upon request. There is a fully equipped kitchen downstairs as well. For entertaining there are billiards, a stereo and a game table.
There are two bathrooms, a service room with washing machine, dryer and iron. A sauna and fitness room complete the lower level.The grounds are beautifully maintained with much care given to gardening. The pool area is absolutely lovely with two separate pools, one for children and one for adults. The two are joined by a soothing waterfall. There is also an integrated jacuzzi. On the pool deck are lounge chairs and tables as well as an outside barbeque and pizza oven and a gazebo. The views of the vineyard and surrounding countryside can be appreciated from the pool.
The owners produce their own Morellino wines on the property as well as their own olive oil. It is possible to try both of these during your stay! Three mountain bikes are also on the property and are there for your use. There are two cleaning services included in the rental, one on Wednesday and Saturday.
This is an ideal location for a family to reconnect or for friends to gather!
