The property was vary nice and felt safe. The landscaping around the property was very nice. The room I stayed in was a little dated but overall not bad at all.

Had a late arrival but when we got to the property families were outside in the patio, made us feel safe. The halls were dirty but the most disgusting were dishes left on the floor on a tray that was still there the next day! The room and beds were clean. The shower had hot water. When we left we got stuck in the elevator for a couple of mins. Then the electricity came back on. Overall nice stay! Would go again.

The outdoor pool looked very good but it was closed two days out of the four days I was there so I never got a chance to swim in it. There's a large mall directly next to the hotel with dining options and shopping. While the staff wasn't outright rude, I wouldn't say they were that friendly either except for the staff that took care of the pool and the grounds (they were very pleasant). I asked for a quiet room ahead of time and at the time of arrival and I was given a room directly in front of the elevators and next to the laundry room. Not exactly quite. The rooms were pretty clean but could've been cleaner. It's a decent hotel in general but there are others that are better within the same price range. If shopping is important to you, however, then being right next to the mall is a huge plus.

Nice friendly, very clean only thing refrigerator was not working and taxi drivers are overprice and they take a vantage when they know you’re not from the area but hotel loved it

Second stay at Hotel Malibu Traveled with family, 14, 7, and 5 year old. Rooms are well kept. Safe area, shopping mall with food court is close. ALL hotel staff is pleasant and courteous. Historic sites are an Uber ride away. Overall great affordable hotel would most certainly stay here again.

Hotel Malibu is a disgrace. They falsely advertise amenities. There is no Spa available, gym is in horrible conditions. Most of the equipment does not work. They free weights are a joke. The receptionist are rude and condescending. Management won’t even speak to you. They have their employees take care of crucial issues. Plus the way to the rooms is abórdela with a long walk to get to it. Okay ions are not clean. They charge for breakfast if you book through Expedia. This is the worst experience I’ve had in a hotel through Expedia. Please do not book. They charged me almost $50 dilatada for drying over 10 min. Never will I stay here again. Stay away

I like the room size, amenities are perfect. My dislikes are the fact that if you don’t pay for buffet price for breakfast you are not allowed to eat in the restaurant. Pillows to soft for my like. Door lock not safe. Bathroom still had a urine odor. Otherwise the hotel is fine.

Very comfortable, secure and great location. Parking was extremely secure, which was important given the location. Close to shopping. Pretty property, restaurant on site. Dinner was great, breakfast buffet was ok, not wow. Rooms were comfortable, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. The only real issue I had was the train going by honking it horn all night. That would be the case for any hotel in the area. Overall great value!
