“Fine, basic hotel in the small town of Guernsey. Not quite as nice as a Hampton Inn but much nicer than a Motel 6. Fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable bed and clean. Only one chair (we had a room with two queen beds), so if two people, one sits on the bed. Not many restaurants around the small town, so we had a few snacks/ sandwiches in the room from the local grocery store. We had trouble with the TV but just used our iPads. “The hotel was big and was only a stop for a night. The lady who checked us in was very nice, but the check in is in their laundry room. This place is generally kept for railroad guys that are required to take a few hours off. Having said that the place doesn't appear to be the cleanest, but I had zero issues. I was by myself in a room so it was plenty sufficient for me and I will also say my favorite part was the shower. It had to be one of the best showers outside of my own at home. Decent……
