Relaxing getaway

Tastefully decorated and well equipped retreat with access to an amazing undisturbed coastal ecosystem. Beach, birds, pines .. our family enjoyed it all at their own pace .. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space for laughter good meals and refreshing naps. Thanks!

Annual Beach Trip

It was our first time staying in the Rookery and we loved it! The house was the perfect size! It was quiet but still close to everything. We had every question answered and felt very welcome!! The house was clean and no issues with the property. The space was perfect! The pool around the corner was very nice. We did have some tree frogs visit the front porch! So cool!!

Property is not well maintained. Cottage is nested back behind other cottages, so there is no view from any window. Furnishings are old and outdated, and some even dirty. Dryer is full of rust on inside. Appliances look like they were purchased at a yard sale. Bedroom without bathroom had bed so bad that no one could sleep on it. Instructions provided for cottage location were very poor and some portions even wrong; we had to call the after hours number to get assistance to find the house.
