Family Vacation

Absolutely enjoyed staying here. This house delivered a quiet relaxing weekend. It was very spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay. We would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the fourth year we have stayed at Journey’s End. It is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful home that has the perfect amount of space and everything needed for our family. Right on the bay where you can fish off the pier or just relax on the screened in back porch looking for dolphins. Our grandkids did not want to leave and are already talking about next year😂

Amazing view

We had a blast with the pier. The whole time we saw dolphins right beside our pier. It was only a short walk to the pool and beach. Amazing place to stay.

We love seeing the changes from visit to visit. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. This time we needed to contact the property management and they were very professional and helpful. Already missing staying there and looking forward to when we can come back!

2023 beach trip

House was wonderful. There is enough room for everyone the only thing was it could use a good cleaning there was some pots that still were dirty had a lot of food on them under the bed look like they have not been cleaned under in months guest left shoes behind that where still in the closet but other than that everything was wonderful we will be booking again for next year

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third year our family has stayed at Journeys End on the bay. As before cannot beat the location. It is secluded and peaceful. We see more marine and wildlife here then you would staying on the beach. Can’t beat the sunsets. House is super nice with lots of space. Would recommend to anyone.

Fishing at the bay, walk to beach, and pool time!!

This house was a Perfect family vacation!! Great location to bay and beach. Takes about 7-8 minutes to walk to beach. We enjoyed the screened back porch while listening to the all the sounds the bay had to offer. The one thing I would say that needs some improvement is the cleanliness. We found have eaten cookies on the twin trundle and the whole house just needed a good deep clean/ dusting. But it was nothing that keep us from having fun and making memories.

Fall Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A little disappointed this time renting Journey’s End... we rented it last summer loved the location, views, everything but this trip the house wasn’t cleaned well. The couches were very dirty, still things under the chairs and couches that weren’t vacuumed, hair and sand upstairs on floors in bathroom, had to email to get someone to come sweep again the next morning. My in-laws had a few ants in the master bedroom closet that they had to call pest control to come spray again also. The house is in the perfect spot, love the new pier next to it for fishing and we enjoyed the screened in back porch, but the house needs some updates like lighting at the back staircase out back deck and the railing is still loose. Needs furniture cleaned and new fan in the bedroom with the bunk beds upstairs it is very loose and swinging. We would love to stay here again with a few things updated. Will definitely check back for changes or updates and hopefully book again.

Great Location for MoBay and Gulf

The three level house was very nice. The location was right on Mobile Bay and allowed access to the Gulf Shores Beach. Close to the Fort Morgan/Dauphin Island Ferry. Great place to stay!

Perfect home for groups!

We loved this home, it was perfect for us to share the home with friends and family during our stay. My only complaint was that the dock is very tall, so tying our boat to it was not a great option.. and there was no way to drag the boat trailer down the driveway and back out.. we ended up leaving the truck and trailer down at the ramp for the weekend. If we ever come down without our boat, we would certainly consider this home again!

Beautiful house with a stunning view of the sunset. Location is exactly as described. Beach and pool access are a short walk away. We watched dolphins swimming from the back porch in the morning. We had a wonderful time and would love to vacation here again.

Beautiful view as soon as you walk in the front door! We had no problem getting settled in, we had everything we needed from towels to cook wear! & plenty of room for everyone!

Family vacay

Loved the house. Great for families. Owners must be foodies because kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Only drawback is lack of water access (no ladder or steps) to swim in bay. Great pier but needs a covered area to be able to enjoy during hotter months.

The cleanest this time was horrible. There was no way it was touched. We had to rewash bedsheets had a muffin in the floor third floor was a mess. this is the first year this has happened. Everything else was wonderful as always. If it wasn’t for us stay in here before and never experience in this before I would have gave it a one star.
