It is an older motel that had been well kept. We had trouble with the combination lock on the door and had to call for assistance to open the door. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

I made arrangements to stay here on my way to “the Soo” and I’m happy to have found this little place on hotels.com. It’s a down home little motel with a good little restaurant next door with basic offerings for travelers through the southern UP.

Pretty good place to stay!

Our stay was pretty good. We had problems with Wi-Fi and never did get connected which created some problems. There’s no refrigerator in the room. Overall, the room was clean and neat and was provided with towels and soap and all of those things. The beds were nice and comfortable.. There’s a nice little restaurant next-door with good food. We would stay again.

Was good stay beds comfortable and clean room had a funky smell but wasn’t terrible. I booked on line was little weird with no office to check in you get a text with room number and door code. Overall great stay for the price! And restaurant next door was great!

Door codes were texted to us just before 3:00, along with the WiFi password. A bit on the cabin-shabby side. The storm door screen was ripped, the main door’s wood veneer was cracked. The inside was clean, the bed was comfortable. It suited our short overnight needs.

Great place to stop for the night! Room was very clean and cozy. No food within 20 minutes but that wasn't a problem, I think their new restaurant just opened a couple days after we left! My girlfriend hates motels but was pleasantly surprised when we opened the door! Would stay here again!
