"The property was exactly as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised to discover how close it is to Elk Avenue, the main street in town. The area is extremely safe and felt very homey. All of the staff was helpful and friendly."

"The property was clean, and I really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. However, I was disappointed with the service at the front desk. On the morning of check-out, we woke up to find there was no running water, which we discovered from a note slipped under the door explaining that there would be no water from 8am to 4pm. Feeling a little frustrated by this inconvenience, I approached the front desk to ask for more information and see if there was anything they could do to help. I mentioned I was frustrated and the staff members reaction was quite rude and dismissive, giving only a dead stare and asking, "Well, what are you looking for?" It made me wonder if this is the kind of customer service we should expect. While I understand emergencies can't always be avoided, a little reassurance or assistance would have gone a long way in making our stay more comfortable. Sadly, no apology or sympathy was offered for the major inconvenience of not being able to shower or use the restroom. It felt like we were treated more like an annoyance than valued guests, which was very disappointing and made for a poor experience."

"This is our second time staying at the Nordic and it is a great spot just outside the main drag of crested butte. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and the breakfast is a simple, tasty spread of coffee, tea, pastries, breakfast burritos, yogurt, and cereal. The beds are cozy and the location is perfect for a mix of hiking, skiing, bike riding all over CB. While we would typically camp in this area, the weather in the off-season can be unpredictable, so the Nordic is a great, no-frills option for single, couple, or family travelers. We stayed with our dog and a reminder: call the hotel ahead of time if you have a pet."

"What a wonderful house for our family of 17! Everyone had a place to call their own as we enjoyed Spring skiing in Crested Butte. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Eric was quick to answer any questions and was there to help when we had concerns. We really enjoyed the steam showers and hot tub after a long day of skiing. The sound system and media room were well used, and we enjoyed visiting over pool table competitions. Loved the artwork! We brought in a private chef one night, and it was fabulous. So close to town but set back into the woods, we had one of the best views of Crested Butte we have ever had in the thirty-five years of visiting CB. We can't wait to book again for the summer and experience the beauty of the mountains. Thank you, Theresa, for opening your home to our family."
