Great Place!

We had an amazing time. The house was as represented! Perfect for a long weekend. The decorations were very homey, tv and sound was great. Kitchen had what we needed and the added bonus were the deer in the yard every evening. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great location, within a alking distance to Taylor River and downtown area. Fully stocked house with everything you need. The only thing that I would recommend is a shorter lock code for the lockbox to get in side door.

Pleasant stay

Location perfect. Quiet neighborhood - nice outdoor space. Spacious indoor space. Kitchen fairly well equipped. Bright and airy. Plenty of bedroom space. Comfortable living room. Unfortunately upstairs bathroom sink not working did not get fixed til 2 days before departure. Downstairs bathroom sink does. It drain well and faucet is loose. Would definitely rent again as feel these issues can be easily rectified.

Great Location, Cute House, But Missing Some Important Things

The location is great - it's close to town but in a quiet neighborhood with aspens and irrigation ditch. The house was clean and tidy with adorable touches. There is plenty of space for a couple or small family. We were missing some important things, however. No Kleenex to be found anywhere in the house - and during allergy season. The blankets on the bed were thin and lacked warmth, and there were no extra blankets - and no throw blankets. Gunnison gets cold FAST in the fall. Check in time - 4:00 - is a bit late, and check out - 10:00 a.m. - quite early. Be aware if you select this location. Directions took us to Almont - being clear about the location and providing directions would be helpful. We had an enjoyable stay - these things are easy fixes for a sweet location. Enjoy Gunnison!

Nice, functional, dog friendly home

I tried 3 times to reach out via email to give feedback on our stay when we left so it would be outside of rating it for all to see but no one ever got back to me via email and stayed on hold way to long three times to reach property manager. Anywho, here goes...there was an odd smell you got wind of even before opening the front door. What we learned later was that a large fry pan looked to be left in the oven during the self -clean cycle was burned so much that the plastic handle was dust. We cleaned it up because we needed to use the oven and it took us a good while. The lamp in the downstairs main bedroom was broken with wires sticking out. Luckily our kiddo wasn’t harmed. Lastly, there were three poop dog bags left in the driveway, presumably by the last renter, we threw them away. The property was very functional and worked well for us otherwise. Keep in mind there is no fenced back or front yard for the dog when selecting this property, no A/C(wasn’t bad despite heat of summer) and with windows open you can hear the nearby road traffic but wasn’t an issue. Nice babbling brook in the back and trail to walk the dog. Clean for being dog friendly. Nice, safe area.

Very dirty and poor customer service

I wouldn’t recommend staying here until Vacasa gets the cleaning figured out. The house is extremely outdated and unfortunately the poor cleaning service and care given to the house inside and out has led to an experience that was poor. The first 30 minutes of my visit I spent cleaning. I wasn’t looking for dirt it was just everywhere. I let the local contact know via email and another Vacasa person know via text (incl photos of many items) when they asked about the cleanliness. I was told I would receive resolution during my stay and never did. I have asked for a refund of my cleaning fee and was told it’s been passed on to the local Vacasa. Blanket hasn’t been washed (hair on it) Dirty coffee pot with used filter still in it Dirty mirror in bathroom Gross bathroom conditions (hair and dirt) Towels still in dryer No towels put out for guests Dirty counter tops Broken blinds Disgusting cobwebbed windows Dead bugs on sills Tons of flies in the house Cobwebs and bugs in kitchen across from cabinet to light over sink Dirty window sills All the doors were unlocked Laundry room is disgustingly dirty One tide pod to do laundry with (which I used to clean the sheets when I get here) Dead bugs on the walls in the bathroom Dirty pan in the oven Floor not cleaned Oven hasn’t been cleaned in ????? So when I tried to use it whatever is on the racks and bottom started smoking Radiator grates caked in dirt despot it saying must stay clean for risk of fire Dirty cabinet doors Filthy kitchen chairs
