Athens County Getaway

Detached garage transformed into a private oasis. Space is a studio with a full kitchen, full bathroom, one queen bed and two twin beds all linens included. Guests are allowed to enjoy the pond across the street and surrounding land. Located two turns off of US 50/32, 15 minutes east of Athens and 35 minutes west Parkersburg. Also clean, always comfortable! No pets allowed.

Super easy to find, which I was not expecting. There was just a few minor things that caught me off guard. There were ants and lady bugs inside, but it’s winter and not that big of a deal. There was no top sheet on the bed and that seemed a bit unsanitary to me. There also was old makeup on a “clean” towel. I didn’t see the makeup until I was already using the towel, that grossed me out as well. Overall a great place for the price though

Perfect for peace and quiet!

I was looking to unwind between ending an old job and starting a new one. This was perfect for what I was looking for. Woods, fields, birds, and LOTS of butterflies! 20 minutes from Athens for Casa Nueva and shopping. Hocking Hills hiking all around. And the price made it work for just me! Overall, a really terrific weekend trip!

Nice, clean place out in the country.

We just stayed one night and it was really nice. The place was very clean and we enjoyed the fire pit outside. They even had some wood already in the fire pit. We just forgot a lighter so we had to go to the store and get one. I would definitely recommend this place!
