「My son wanted to experience the Korean traditional lodging while my husband needed a good bed and a quiet place. Ran Hanok satisfied us all with a room with a bed and a futon to enjoy the traditional heated floors. The guesthouse had everything else we needed as well - daily towel exchange, continental breakfast, basic amenities, etc. It is a 15 min walk to the historical sites and HwangLiDanGil (황리단길), which has tons of good restaurants and shopping, so you get all the fun but a quiet night...

「The room was clean, the building interiors were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I booked a stay-and-dine package, and both the dinner and breakfast menus were to our liking. The dinner menu, in particular, was enjoyed by the entire family and received high satisfaction. 」

「We had an amazing stay here. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and super helpful- even booking taxis for our early morning train trips for us. The Hanok was deliciously warm in the very wintry minus 12 degrees celsius and we were provided food to prepare breakfast each morning including the most fabulous fresh strawberries. Highly recommend a stay here. 」

「We were there off season but had a lovely stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing to note was we couldn't control the temperature in our room. The thermostat is set for you and you are not able to cool or heat individual rooms. For the most part it was a comfortable temperature but we wish we could choose the temperature ourselves.」

「Clean Rooms. Easy check-in process. There is no lobby here so we talked to the owner via WhatsApp. It was not a problem though. As we got in early, they allowed us to leave our luggage behind so we could start going around. Easy distance to shops and restaurants as well as the different sites.」

「Warm floor is superb during cold nights. Lots of kitchen utensils and hot stove is working in case if you need to prepare a meal.」
