Beautiful location on beach. Clean and updated unit. Easy check-in. Only issue is that the unit wasn't overly soundproofed as lots of noise transmission from floor above. Otherwise, ideal!

Wonderful

Our room was clean spacious with easy access to the beach. Bed was comfy but a queen or king bed would've been better. Overall our stay was wonderful. We tried out the kayak to Cathedral cove, that was fun.

Camping in a really lovely setting, next to the beach. The camp site is a low-key place with a central court with a playground and stalls serving tasty burgers and pizzas. There are different forms of accommodation, from simple tent areas, camper vans, little cabins to ocean front villas. The cabins are basic, but adequate. Numbers 1-7 and 8-9 are each joined together with a footpath, so little privacy and some noise, especially if your neighbours (like ours were) are groups of school kids.

A beautiful location for a laid back vacation. Close enough to the village centre to walk. Lots of places nearby to explore, Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, Cook's Beach. We were there in the off-season so we understandand, but getting dinner each night was a bit of a challenge with only one restaurant (which was off-site) open.
The night sky was magnificent.

Hahei Beach Resort

Great location in a beautiful area with beach access right out the front. The unit could use some refurbishing -it's a bit dated- but all functional and reasonably comfortable (the couch, not so great but the beds were nice). Washer and dryer in the unit. The resort has hot tubs you can rent.
