The apartment was clean & updated. Very close to the beach. It is small but adequate for 5 people. We did not spend a lot of time in the apartment as we went to the beach daily, shopping in Kittery & deep sea fishing. I would stay here again.

Location is great! It seemed like a newly renovated property. No washer/dryer or dishwasher which we didnt need for our short stay but noteworthy. I'd call it an efficiency but sufficient.

Even tough the weather did not corporate we made the best of it. The room was everything we needed. Very close to beach access.

It was a really nice place to stay. My only grip is how high the cleaning fees are. For only staying one night they shouldn't be that high.

Review of Hampton Rental

The apartment was very nice and clean and plenty of room for my group of 3. The separate bedrooms were great, kitchen was very nice and being only a half block from beach was really nice and convenient. Recommend at least one rug inside the front door. Was raining when we arrived so all of the "wet" came in with us. Would also be good to catch the sand. Could use a dish drainer or mat for drying dishes after washing. Overhead lights in bedroom do no dim properly. Can only use them on full light, which isn't great for bedtime reading. Biggest complaint is not having all info on costs up front. The additional fee, the insurance fee and the fee held for a damage deposit is not revealed until after the place is rented. This is not good. Also why is there an insurance fee if you are going to hold an amount for a damage deposit?
