「We booked this house for a graduation party for me and a couple friends. It ended up being the perfect house for the party and we would gladly book again! The movie room was a great addition and got a lot of use. The massive kitchen was great for preparing lots of food for our guests, as well as the big bar. The amount of bedrooms was also perfect as we had multiple people stay the night. The room with the surrounding balcony was great for our live music. The elevator helped move seats...

「We can't rave enough about Black Thistle! It provided the perfect setting for both our rehearsal dinner and getting ready for the big day at Brunswick Ballroom, just down the street. The venue's ambiance was incredible, and we even took our wedding photos there – they turned out stunning! We absolutely loved the combination of the dark wood and black accents」

「We really enjoyed staying here while we visited Ft. Leavenworth! It was very beautiful and comfortable home in a convenient location. Had we been staying for a longer period, we would have been able to take even better advantage of the space with the full kitchen with amenities and nice back patio.」

Everything was so clean, breakfast was excellent, especially for a hotel breakfast!, pool was great, we had plenty of room in our king suite, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! We loved the later 12pm checkout so we didn't have to rush in the morning. We will absolutely stay here again if we need a hotel in the area again!」

「I loved staying here, it is In the heart of old downtown. A little quirky and fun. Everything is new and clean. The hotel does not have an elevator due to the historic nature of the building, but there are rooms available with an access ramp. 」

The first room they assigned had a horrible smell and the air freshener they had plugged in was empty… however when I went down and spoke with reception, they talked to me and asked questions about what I was smelling. They went above and beyond to move me to a different room, and it was wonderful!! So grateful!」
