“Excellent location and staff”

“Hands down a phenomenal place to stay! Breakfast is delivered to your room every morning (pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, quiche, breakfast biscuits, etc.). Complimentary drinks are restocked in your refrigerator daily. The decor is very urban and sleek. The location is top-notch to everything. The people were fantastic. We have no desire to stay any place else, and we will be back! Amazing place! ”

“This hotel sits on the waterfront in Charleston and has a lovely roof bar. It’s @ 1-2 miles from downtown. We loved staying here.”

“They could not find my reservation because of the apostrophe in my name, they did not have a room for me, 35 minutes of standing in lobby while staff went behind closed doors to “figure it out”, they “upgraded” me to a room with no coffee pot, a fed full size refrigerator and a closet right next to bed with some kind of very loud generator in it”

“The hotel is located with great access to downtown Staff was good except the bartender in lobby bar was not very friendly or happy about what she was doing. ”

“This property needs a massive upgrade, not a paint over. The paint in the rooms is sagging and bubbling up, there was rust coming from the bathtub drain, the railing on the porch was so rusted that it didn’t connect at points. The shuttle bus was out of service so a minivan was offered. We pulled back the cover to find dirty sheets and slept on top of the covers. We couldn’t wait to leave. This hotel hurts the Holiday Inn brand. ”

“So very disappointed with this hotel! Paid for the editor with sitting room, place was dark, dingy, smelly (they allow many dogs) furniture old, shower had mold, not at all what we expected. Restaurant appears nice, but staff is curt, clearly understaffed, food was fine but long waits (even with a reservation) the guy parking our car was bar tending (poor guy, beer and wine only as he was trying but it was his first time) Overall very disappointing, would not go back.”
