Lovely traditional style hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Not our usual style/design chosen for a hotel but it is lovely if you want archetypical English.
Great Breakfast (included), wide choice and all served, no buffet…which is a lovely change but as soon as it got busy it slowed to not receiving a coffee for 20 min wait- then you’re charged service for your free breakfast - a small glitch in an otherwise lovely stay.

Great location - close to Victoria underground and train station, walkable to many dining options and shops.
Rooms were well equiped for cooking own meals but it’d be great to offer guests a small sponge and dish detergent to hand wash dishes rather than only the dish washer. The July only had opened 2 weeks prior to us checking in, so it was a fresh new clean accomodation. The gym was simple but also had a sign it was in the process of adding more equipment. Sauna/wellness area was really clean and calm. The reception was kind and let us use this area to change before checking in after our 36 hour journey to London.
Being a gold expedia status, we didn’t receive the free room upgrade but did have an hour extra for late check out. It was quiet and at times felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. Overall, really nice stay, room was clean and nicely decorated. Fantastic location and we’d stay again!
