「THE CABIN WAS CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED, PERFECTLY AS DESCRIBED. LOVED THE HOT TUB! LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR WHAT WE INTENDED THE WEEKEND TO BE, RELAXING BUT CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE ENTERTAINMENT AS NEEDED.」

「This was a great property! Clean. Plenty of room for everyone. Love the screened porch. There was a big field to the side where we did our “camping Olympics” and great for the dog to run around. The creek was good for floating and there were some nice trails. Close to a grocery store but still completely secluded. Quick communication with the host.WiFi was shoddy- but was better if all of us were not on it at the same time- we don’t use it much anyway. . Would be great to have a better...

「The cabin was cozy, but we never felt cramped. The screened in porch was VERY nice and the rockers were just perfect on the porch. We used the indoor fireplace and the grill. The grill was clean and there was equipment for its use and the kitchen had high quality pots and pans. We had to contact the host with a question, Tony was very responsive and asked more than once if we needed anything. We found everything was as stated in description.We did not use the hot tub.」

「The hot tub was perfect temperature. The property was as advertised and shown in the pictures. Directions were great, check-in was a breeze. The weather was great so we weren’t in doors much. Home was clean and had everything we needed. The host has added a “Zero water” filter so there’s no sulfur taste that another reviewer mentioned. The wi-fi worked well during our stay. 」

「We came for a long weekend to escape DC life and had a great time. House was nice, and the property manager communicated well through check-in and our stay. The house manual was well-documented and had great recommendations for restaurants we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Bedding was comfortable, hot tub was great. 」

「This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. 」
