  • Fishing creek in your back yard! Rustic cabin is a spacious, rustic cabin. This cabin is all about family vacations. Wood burning fireplace in the open concept living space. The cabin sits by itself surrounded by a forest of mature trees, no other buildings in sight. The screened in porch is relaxing to watch the plentiful birds, deer, and eagles! Creek is perfect for fishing and swimming.
    Stay connected with good WIFI. Watch movies together on dvd's provided or bring your own.

    Close by:
    Food Lion, gas, dollar store, and pizza just a few minutes away.
    Hancock Antique Indoor Flea Market is a hidden gem open all year round. Inside the flea market building is Krazy Rayz Smokehouse.
    Blue Goose Market has homemade canned goods, a bakery, wines, and souvenirs.
    Berkely Springs is known for its hot springs and spas.

We had a wonderful time. Clean and private cabin in the woods overlooking a stream. Would recommend this cabin to anyone trying to enjoy nature.

The property is perfect for a group vacation. We only had 5 but you could have 12 easily. Great central location for riding the west 120 miles of the C&O Tow Path. Friendly and responsive host and the directions given to the property were spot on. It has everything you need to grill and cook and onsite laundry is a bonus. Feels remote and quiet, while only being a couple miles from town.

This cabin sure fit the bill for our grandchildren's Cousin Camp. Exploring the river was a highlight for them and the hiking trails were also a plus. The cabin itself was very clean with comfortable beds and adequate bathrooms. Having 2 tables - one for eating and one for games - was so nice. The driveway was a little tricky, especially in the dark, because it meanders through several other properties. Watch for the Ruffed Grouse cabin sign, follow the arrow and it won't be a problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Family fun..

Its was in the middle of nowhere but still only 10 minutes away from a store . The kids and grandkids loved fishing, camp fires, walking the trails and just having fun . Would stay again .

Great Cabin!

My friends and I rented this cabin for my birthday and it was such a fun time! Right by the water, little fire, and plenty of space to do activities. 10/10 will go back.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin!! The photos don't do it justice. The place was great and fit our large group of 12 ( dog) perfectly. Since the pics were taken they've added a large couch, which was perfect for additional seating in the living room area. The cabin was well-stocked, private yet close enough to stores if we needed anything, and the grounds were beautiful! We had fun exploring the woods, hanging out around the fire, and gathering around the big tables for meals. If you are looking for basic amenities, privacy in nature, sleeping large groups, and space for your dog, this is the perfect place. We highly recommend this place! Thank you for the lovely getaway!
