「My boyfriend and I found this unique space a PERFECT abode for us! It was incredibly well kept, spacious and had a sweet outdoor area to enjoy the local wildlife. We had the good fortune to see two deer and many boisterous birds from the comfort of the front porch. Such a cozy, welcoming home. Thank you so much for the wonderful space!」

「This was a great place to chill out and relax. Langley is a nice little town to explore and the rest of the Island is more or less within an hours drive away. This was a great home base.」

「What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. 「My wife and I and a friend spent nearly a week at Oyster Lodge mostly under completely blue skies and little wind. We enjoyed the privacy, the spa, the commercial gas stove, the huge kitchen, and oystering on the beach. The large propane grill was perfect for cooking oysters in the shell. We also went clamming at the nearby WDFW tidelands near Quilcene. The 100 steps down to the beach were a little challenging, but we all made it on several occasions. The house was very clean except for a sticky...

「Our stay was amazingly peaceful and for our family to join at a mutual location it was ideal - beautiful walks on the beach and the overall charm of the place made for a perfect Christmas--very spacious, beds perfect and the home had all the cooking utensils, gadgets, platters etc to accommodate our meals. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will for sure return for another visit!」

「The wife, dogs, and I stayed here to unplug during a rainy Memorial Day. This property is special! Felt like we were transported back to the 1800s (but with some key comforts like baseboard heaters). We enjoyed zoning out to the crackling fire and looking at the tides go by.」

「If you're looking for the perfect place to relax and get some perspective on life, this is it. If you're fussy about every little detail, maybe this isn't. The awesome view, the privacy, the sauna, comfortable beds, great wood burning fireplace, all the important things are here. It's very rural, so as you might expect, the decks were covered in leaves, pine cones, broken branches, plus quite a few cobwebs throughout the house, things we read other renters complain about but don't bother us....

「This was our second time staying at this property and we liked it as much the second time as the first! Our dog loves the fenced in yard (though she was able to get in under the deck, so if that could be closed off that would fantastic.) Plenty of space for a family of four. Great location and we love walking around the neighborhood and enjoying the view from the deck. Highly recommend!」
