「I have never been a fan of bed and breakfast places but this place can make you a believer! Location, location, location; can easily walk to historic district. The best feature of this Inn is the gourmet breakfast; we got a different delicious breakfast every day. This historic house is a well maintained beauty that you’ll love!」

「Our bed in the Patrick House was very comfortable and the sheets were incredibly soft. The breakfasts (strata, ham and cheese pie, apple raisin quiche) included fresh fruit (strawberry, pineapple, grapes, cantaloup) and delicious lemon poppyseed loaf bread. Breakfast staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was quiet and there was a nice shower with a high showerhead, and shea toiletries. The location was perfect. 「This property is nestled by the river, which is such a lovely spot.
Donna is such a wonderful innkeeper; she made us feel right at home.
The breakfast was both healthy and delicious, and it was made with love.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re searching for a lovely BnB near Shenandoah National Park, this is like home without the chores.

「Great location, minutes walk distance to UVA and several restaurants. Very nice hotel owner and her dog. Cozy room and comfortable king bed. Excellent homemade breakfast. We’ll come back! Strong recommend to others. 」
