  • 2 bedroom (queen/two twin beds) and one bathroom. Full kitchen and large open living area with bay window offering beautiful views of the sound and wildlife. Cottage comes fully stocked with towels/linens provided and beds made up for your arrival. Amenities include WiFi/cable TV, large deck w/furniture, hot/cold outside shower, charcoal grilll, fish cleaning table, and double kayak. Boat slips available upon request. Enjoy!!

We have a wonderful time at this Property overlooking the bay. The house was clean and the location was just wonderful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this rental while in Hatteras!

We stayed with our two young boys and this was a great place for our family. The views are beautiful and the house was clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

Had the absolute best time staying at this glorious place! It was the perfect sanctuary to unplug, unwind, and just relax. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, the surroundings were beautiful, and you can tell the hosts put a lot of love into making it a cozy, welcoming retreat. My family left feeling completely refreshed. Will absolutely be returning next summer.

Beautiful location on the sound, quiet neighborhood. Very clean and comfortable, thanks to Janice N. Appreciated the extra blankets, soft and cozy. The fresh flowers and extra ice already in the freezer was a very nice bonus. Can’t wait to come back.

Great end of summer stay!

We enjoyed our stay at The Landing. Our family enjoyed how comfortable the cottage was, the beautiful sunsets and getting to take our little ones kayaking. We hope to be back soon!

The Landing

This is our go to place whenever we are going to Hatteras! Katie and Jeff are awesome people and the cottage is awesome with breathtaking views and very quiet latex back community!

Loved it! Great location and was very clean and well stocked. Owner was friendly and had good communication. Loved to put kayaks in right off the back dock. Definitely recommend.

Great stay!

A wonderful little spot for our family to spend a long weekend. Location right on the sound is beautiful. We had one really great sunset. The decks appear to be brand new and were great for hanging out in the evenings. The whole place was in great shape. We're itching to book it again!

This is the 3rd time staying at The Landing and we’re already planning our 4th. The house is exactly as described and so much more. Katie and Jeff are exceptional hosts.

Perfect Hatteras Getaway

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location close to Hatteras ferry. The cottage was very clean and Katie was extremely communicative. Evening sunsets were absolutely amazing. Kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. We had the most relaxing time and this place was perfect.

Amazing sunsets

We will always remember our time at the landing by the beautiful sunsets and easy access to the serene waters of the sound via daily kayak adventures with our 3 year old. Thanks so much for having us!
