Swept Away Two- Great Family Beach House

This home was fully remodeled inside and out last year and is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. It is an ideal beach retreat for a small family of four or two couples. The home features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, including a spacious king master suite with a private master bathroom. The master bedroom also includes a cozy sitting area and direct access to the backyard and deck.

The second bedroom offers a queen bed along with a twin bed, making it perfect for children or additional guests. Fresh linens are provided on all beds, along with bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels for your convenience.

Laminate and hardwood floors run throughout the home, complementing the modern kitchen, which features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The home is fully equipped for a relaxing beach getaway, including a gas grill and beach chairs, making it easy for your family to enjoy a comfortable and memorable beach vacation.

We had a great experience staying in this beach house. It was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms were clean and nice with plenty of towels. We made daily use of the available beach chairs and noted there were bikes available for use as well. However we typically walked to the beach which was about a mile away. Check in and check out were easy. The owners were communicative and provided restaurant recommendations. We would definitely recommend this beach house for those visiting the area.

A beautiful weekend

Place was immaculate, plenty to do, very spacious house. Master bedroom was great, and the porch/sunroom was also just lovely. Nice area too.

Great place

Super clean, updated, good extras such as beach chairs, beach umbrella, bikes and grill. Very responsive owner. Grill lighter needed new battery and owner was there in like three minutes even with new tank just in case. Would stay there again.

We could not have asked for a better host or house for our stay in the Outer Banks. Jen was extremely accommodating, flexible, and easy to communicate with. The house had everything we could have needed for our vacation and we used the grill each night we were there. Great location with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Great walking path nearby as well.

The house was great and the host was very kind and considerate of everything we would need. We didn't have to pack as much stuff for the beach because they had so much there for us to use. The neighborhood was quiet and shopping restaurants and beach access were all very convenient. Would highly recommend!

Great Labor Day stay

Jennifer was awesome! Got me in early and had a bicycle waiting on me. Rode down to the wright memorial on the sound side of the island which was beautiful

OBX Spring 24

The house was fantastic! A perfect setup for a small family. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood in a great location very close to the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Jennifer is a fabulous host! She was on site to greet us upon arrival and extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to do in the Outer Banks. If we ever go back to OBX we will stay here. Highly recommended!

Jenniffer was an amazing host. We did not have reason to call her other than saying goodbye. 100 % clean house. 100% spot on communication. The only thing we needed was a personal driver and family secretary.

High quality property

This house is very well done. Everything was clean and well maintained. I recommend this place for families to stay. Very close to walking/biking trails. Located in a quiet neighborhood that is only a short drive to the beach, stores, etc. The property manager is very responsive and is willing to help in any way She can. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to have a great vacation. Bikes, beach toys, beach chairs. You should stay here. You wont regret it.

Breath taken away by Swept Away

My family and I had a fantastic time at Swept Away Two. Jennifer is a wonderful host who showed us every kindness and consideration from our arrival through our bittersweet departure. From offering great suggestions for restaurants and activities to providing a comfortable, clean, and captivating haven, the property was a sanctuary for a late-summer getaway. This charming OBX house is conveniently located near the beautiful beach at Kill Devil Hills (and Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, and Duck) and the inland sound with its great multi-use trail running along it. After spending time at the beach, we watched the sunsets from the trail along the sound, and then returned to restful nights at Swept Away Two. It doesn’t get much better than this. Thank you, Jennifer!

Great Place for R&R and Central to OBX

We loved this spacious house for our family vacation. Jenniffer was very communicative and kind. The house was more spacious than the pictures and we loved that there was 3 separate living spaces that we could spread out. My husband and I, along with my Mom and 2 year old daughter very much enjoyed this clean, well stocked home. We loved the beach items like the beach toys, and chairs for use so we didn't have to bring our own. We also really appreciated this property was PET FREE (so rare for the area it seemed!) and very clean. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, detergent and washing machine and dryer, towels etc. Very convenient and great quiet neighborhood close to the sound and a short drive to the beach. The door lock is a little tricky but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. Overall, would recommend this place for any family visiting the outer Banks. Thank you Jenniffer!

Excellent Vacation Home!

We made a reservation to bring our god sons to the OBX during Spring Break. We could not have pictured a better rental home than Swept Away Two! The host was extremely responsive to our questions, and we found everything in the home was exactly as described. The location in Kill Devil Hills was convenient for grocery shopping, the movies, and for buying supplies we needed at Target. All of the activities we wanted to participate in were a short commute away, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Jenniffer suggested bike paths and parks for us to use to entertain our active 10-year-old twins, and the back yard was perfect for playing soccer and throwing balls around. The house was extremely clean, and everything we needed was readily available. We would stay here again without hesitation. In fact, our god sons were asking if we could come back for a week next month! We are pretty picky consumers, and I would give my highest recommendation to Swept Away Two!

OBX Family Vacation

Check in and out was easy. The host was responsive and communicative. The location was very convenient for groceries and a very short drive to the beach or Wright Brothers memorial. Our kids were too small to walk or ride the bikes, but it is close enough for that.
