"We stayed in the Ocean Towers, which were extremely dated and in need of a much deeper cleaning. Based on the condition of the room and tower itself, I was genuinely surprised this was considered part of a Hilton property. It honestly felt misrepresented compared to the photos and overall reputation of the resort. I can only assume the four-star rating reflects the newly renovated areas rather than the Ocean Towers accommodations.
We also had to contact housekeeping because some of our towels appeared visibly unclean. which further called into question the cleanliness of the room in its entirety. Unfortunately, within 24 hours my sister contracted impetigo after using the towels, and sleeping in the bed, which made the remainder of the trip very difficult and uncomfortable.
Transportation throughout the property was another major issue. The tram was frequently out of service, the boat transportation was unavailable, and the shuttle service was also not operating consistently. Considering how large the property is, this became incredibly inconvenient.
Additionally, we paid extra for breakfast passes that ended up being almost entirely unnecessary. The passes only covered one coffee, one orange juice, one breakfast pastry, and one breakfast sandwich, which did not feel worth the additional cost at all.
The grounds themselves are beautiful, but overall I would not stay at this specific property again or recommend the Ocean Towers based on our experience."
