「A wonderful guesthouse a few miles outside of town. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The only small downside was the combo washer/dryer took 5 hours to do a very small load and we couldn't use it overnight because it was right next to the pullout bed.」

「We stayed here when really bad Kona storms came through. I understand that isn't the fault of the owners, but they didn't let us know the power was out until after we came from the other side of the island and passed by restaurants and shops with power. I was irritated by the poor communication but was going to let it pass until the next day when we talked to another guy who came and said they didn't tell him the power was out either. So now I feel like they were trying to avoid cancellations....
