"We enjoyed the indoor & outdoor pool and breakfast was excellent. The room was a good size with everything required for a pleasant stay. We didn’t dine here in the evening as the restaurant was fully booked but the menu wasn’t very good so we were happy to eat at The Cracking Crab in Polzeath. We found check in & check out times a little inconvenient for a hotel-room wasn’t ready until 4pm and checkout at 10am meant breakfast was rushed. Parking was tricky as the hotel was busy, EV chargers weren’t working and the shuttle bus was not available so we had to drive to Polzeath. Overall a pleasant stay but not quite perfect for the cost."

"Wonderful property in a superb location with the local bakery a lovely treat. We also used the local pizza takeaway which was great. The house has everything you could want and the hot tub was a real highlight. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The only slight downside was not having enough toilet rolls provided and the awkward location of the key safe box behind a bush. Other than that we loved our stay in Rock"

"Had a lovely week in Rock the property is so close to the village. The garden is safe for the dog. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equiped with quality crockery. Lounge was very spacious and loved the sea theme the pictures don't do it justice. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars all round was the family bathroom needed updating and the en suite a lick of paint. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and exploring the surrounding areas."

"We really enjoyed our stay, in particular the location and the well equipped spacious flat. We stayed during a heatwave and brought our own fan, otherwise the place may have been a bit hot as it’s located at the top of a 3 floored building. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals and the bakery and pub being a short walk down the road were ideal. Thank you Wendy for a great stay."

"The property is in an ideal location. Local shops within a five minute walk and restaurants and the beach just twenty minutes away on foot. The house is well stocked and has a lovely private enclosed garden. We were lucky enough to visit during a heatwave. However sleeping in a bungalow, where you are not inclined to leave windows open overnight proved to be unbearably hot. I would strongly recommend putting portable fans in the bedrooms. The only other negative was that the kitchen felt grubby and in need of a good clean. The cupboard doors were dirty. As were the covers on the sofas.Overall a lovely holiday and I would recommend."
