“The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was also excellent. The meal was amazingly priced for 3 courses and the chief made the pudding from scratch. I would absolutely go back again and even if we disnt stay the night i could eat the chiefs food all day long every day”

“A very comfortable and relaxed hotel. Clean, well appointed bedroom, friendly, helpful staff. pleasant, if uninspiring breakfasts, well prepared food served in the bar with chef's specials to round out the menu. Parts of the exterior of one wing in need of some cosmetic attention but the rest of the facade of this massive, rambling property not at all bad and the interiors good. “My friend and I had a lovely stay. Room was spotless. Bed was so comfy, shower huge.
Used the spa facilities, which again was very nice, not too busy, only negative was would have liked robes in the room. It would have been good if the bar stayed open afer 12 though as would have enjoyed a quiet night cap after christmas party.
Will definitely stay again.
Breakfast in the morning was good, nice selection.”
