"This is an excellent hotel for those who would like to eat out and go to nearby Onsen as the hotel does not have Onsen. The hotel was modern Japanese feel, designed by a local architect. It sits in a very quiet location and about 10 minutes walk to the jigoku area."

"Such a beautiful and authentic stay in a Japanese home with typical style and so special to have your own private onsen bath with an outdoor shower. Super close to all the hells and the main town"

"The staff was excellent and the food/meals were amazing. The seki saba and aji sashimi as well as the bungo beef were delicious and a must try. We really enjoyed that you get to use one of the four onsen for yourself/your party for 1 hour, just make sure you go at the designated time slot and the onsen you chose. There is English intructions to help you use the amenities as well as an explanation of the inn and their areas. The only issue is we found mold growing in the AC which we did use...

"I loved this resort. It was situated at a great and quiet location with a konbini nearby. The onsens were kept in great condition and felt wonderful. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful!"

"Breakfast was traditional Japanese faire, which was delicious and changes every day. They had 3 family onsens that you could use with your children. That was quite fun for the children. The staff was attentive, hospitable and went out of their way to make sure the guests were comfortable. Our room had a bath fed by hot spring water so we could then soak in the comfort of our room. All in all, a wonderful experience"
