“Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back……
“Nice and clean. Breakfasts till 9, we got down there at like 8:15 the cafeteria was full and they were running low on a lot of things and were very slow to restock or replaced one or two of the item at a time. So if you weren’t right there to grab ”
“Right by bike/ walking trails along Mississippi. Visitor center at end of same block, free, nice bike rentals for adults. Beautiful River walk, goes for miles. Walking distance to Channel Cat boat pick up. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Great location, easy in and out, plenty of parking.”
“This hotel has kind of been a work in progress and they've been continuously improving everything since I first stayed there a few years ago. My room had a very comfortable bed and it was very clean and I would recommend this hotel.”
