"I was delightfully surprised. I was needing to stay near a home I was purchasing so I was looking for a place to sleep as I was busy during the day. The motel was perfect, sorta old school in a good way. GREAT price and great for an overnight stop. Staff was great too."

"I had a very pleasant stay at the Taos Inn. It’s close to everything and carries the old charm you just don’t find in cookie-cutter rooms. The character of the inn is a true plus. A meal at Doc Martin’s is a must, and don’t miss a late patio visit with a cocktail while people-watching the patrons of Taos. The Taos Inn is now a must-stay on my return trips."
"It was an excellent old school hotel. Room wasn’t anything special but it got the job done for what I needed. The convenience of the room was also a big plus as I was there for a wedding and my room was walking distance to the reception. "
"The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). There is an area for games or quiet time. There was a festival on the square Saturday afternoon and evening which made us appreciate the location even more. We had a 2 room suite with a Murphy bed in the first room and a king in the bedroom. We lit our gas fireplace for a few minutes for ambiance one evening before bed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."
Beautiful adobe home steps the plaza with private patio and garden
10/10 Excellent
"Spacious, well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the Plaza. If anything, the photos didn't do it justice. The decor is understated and timeless, and the yard, including a large patio, is extensive. We so enjoyed our coffee time on the patio every morning. My only criticism is that the combo to enter the front door is unnecessarily long. 10 digits, really? Didn't get it memorized until the last day. Even then, it was often tricky and took several tries. But we would stay there again in a flash."
