「Weekend getaway with friends at the Weekie Wachee State Park. Residence was a short drive. This house was very clean with more than normal accommodations. Friendly neighborhood with a relaxing backyard to float in the water and watch the sun set. Great place to relax and recharge from a busy lifestyle. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Hernando Beach area.」

「Really enjoyed staying here. The location was great! Food in the area is some of the best around as well. Having the boat on the dock and being able to just walk out back and be in the Gulf of America in minutes is fantastic. The pool is nice when you are tired and don’t feel like messing with the boat in order to be in the water. 「Let me just say the only thing nicer than the home, view and atmosphere is the hosts. Awesome folks and so understanding of issues that may arise. Very accommodating and responsive to any and all messages. The home was open and very clean when we arrived. We had absolutley no issues to speak of. Weather wasn't always cooperative during our stay but we're from Florida so pretty used to it. The pool, hot tub dock and fishing areas were well maintained and we used them all the whole time there....

Enjoyed having kayaks available to use on the river and didn’t have to bring ours. The outdoor area was perfect with nice umbrellas and three loungers. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - I suggest leaving suitcases downstairs. Thank you for allowing us to stay - had an excellent weekend. 」

「It's very nice and clean, the owner was very accommodating, but there are a few maintenance issues ongoing on the property.」

「Bear Trail is a gorgeous property as well as perfectly located on the river. Our host Sonia was quick to respond to any questions that we had which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed the many kayaks and even rented a small boat to ride the river. We enjoyed staying here and will be booking another stay here soon. Thanks again Sonia!」
