“Clean cute house.”

“This fit our needs perfectly we needed to be located near town and found ourselves right in the heart of Marion . The convenience and price were excellent. Way more comfortable than a hotel and the price was on point. Thanks for having us.”

“Great stay. Zero issues. Came down for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay at the house!”

“Property is overall solid and the stay was nice. Some quirks, mainly with the back door not fully locking and instead having rigged up a pole in the door track to prevent someone from coming in. Other than that, it was good.”

“Easy check-in process and super convenient location to SIU, Carbondale, and the wine trail. Ample space and 2-car garage made it perfect for a group.Only room for improvement would be having central air or cooling options in the bedrooms.Overall great stay”

“We love staying here after sightseeing around Shawnee!”

“Place overall was decent, it was clean enough. The hot tub and fire pit were a nice touch. The house is very close to the road and there is constant traffic noise even late at night. It is also advertised as more upscale than it was. We noticed several areas of the house that looked like the landlord special took place in getting it ready. Some of the doors didn’t close properly or were only on a single set of hinges instead of multiple. The dining chairs too were not in great shape, they had……

“Very nice property, quite, clean and the pool and deck are awesome!!! My family and I had a great relaxing time, I will definitely consider going back and recommend it if you like relaxing and swimming fun!!!”

“Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.”

“If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois.”

“Very cool place to chill and enjoy the benefits of the country side. The house is spacious and the patio is brilliant! The hidden dam in the forest is a hidden gem”

“Lovely location.”

“We rented this house in 2020 and had a great experience, which is why we returned on August 1, 2026. Unfortunately, the house is not the same.We arrived to find a bed that was broken and propped up with a stack of wood. It leaned so badly it was unusable. I contacted management around 5:00 p.m. and was told someone would come that night. After multiple messages, including one around midnight, no one showed up or even responded. My husband had to sleep on the couch. The next morning they claimed……

“Owner was very responsive. We had a great time. We will stay at one of our locations again when we are in town.”

“Perfect place to relax and enjoy some family time.”

“Property was great for my family of four. Plenty of room and very clean. We had a great time while staying.”
