"This is no 5* star hotel. Superficially the hotel looks fine especially in the promotions, however in reality the facilities were poor and food was cold and uninspired. Rooms barely cleaned daily and amenities in room not replaced. The little touches of your normal 5* were not at this hotel. Had booked half board but gave up and ate out . Would recommend the Medsa and Island Restaurant (this is unrelated to the hotel)"

"Hotel ist neu und sehr zentral gewesen. Dementsprechend sehr sauber. Viele Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit. Pool Größe ist in Ordnung, aber nicht so groß. Zu unserem Pech hatte Dachterasse eine Woche lang ein Problem und man konnte nicht hoch. Das war nicht so toll. Es gibt nicht so viel Auswahl für Vegetarier beim Frühstück. Im a la Carte Prinzip. "We had a really lovely stay and would definitely return. The resort was excellent, with several pools, beautiful grounds and a great location right by the beach. Our room was spacious, cleaned daily and very comfortable. There were plenty of places to get food throughout the day and the food was varied, although generally just okay. The facilities were very good, with a well-equipped gym, spa and beauty salon. There are quite a few stairs around the resort, although alternatives are available....

Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa - Adults Only

"We had the most relaxing, amazing stay at Stella island! The staff looked after us so well from the second we arrived and the food at the different restaurants was incredible. We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"Nice beach location and close to bars and restaurants. Excellent front desk crew. Buffet was good and outdoor bar area was chill. Small rooms with nice balconies and view. More pool chairs and umbrella would be nice as they all get towels thrown down to be held and people don’t come back for hours, my only complaint. Plenty of beach chairs."

"The most impressive was quality of food in buffet and the 3 restaurants. It's also perfect for families with kids. Cleaning was good, but missed some spots occasionally. The rooms are descent sized, comfy beds, bathroom was a bit small, but not a problem. What made stay great was that it was such a compact resort, but somehow they have "hidden the rooms" so it doesn't feel crowded. Beach is great, with plenty of chairs, pools the same. Amazing place for kids, as they kept meeting new friends, and parents could relax with a good overview pools and beach areas. Kids club had good opening hours and nice staff. Some staff members were excellent, some average, but they were all helpful with the kids. Food was beyond expectations. Top ingredients cooked very well. Exceptional value for money. What could be improved- Though most food was included, a couple of dishes needed extra payment. No roomservice was included in the Effortless package, but the ice cream shop was. There were 2 Wine lists, Effortless (all inc) + regular. The regular was available everywhere, the full effortless only in restaurants. In Bars only 3 wines, but all drinks included. Wine selection on effortless wine list could be improved, but a couple of good wines so no issues. Did not like shampoo and shower gel at all. Overall, for what we paid, we feel we received great value, our kid met so many new friends it was a great vacation for all. Will definitely be back."
