「Nice area. Convenient to campus. It seemed like it had been a while since someone had stayed there (I was there in May). It had a musty smell throughout. Also, there are 43 steps up to get to the property at 6600ft elevation. It was inconvenient for us but could be a real problem for someone who isn’t used to altitude and/or has any sort of mobility problems.」

The folks from the front office were wonderful and very accommodating to a last minute change in the number kiddos coming on our trip. 「First time to stay in a timberframe home, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful, comfortable home that had everything we needed. Several eateries within walking distance, and the Durango-Silverton train depot was just a very short drive. Very nice neighborhood. Andrew was a great host --- communicated very well. 「Perfectly stocked, clean, comfortable with perfect yard and porches. The walk to downtown is not too far, but not a trip you would want to do multiple times a day. The location is great for bike riders because a large park is directly behind this home. The street is quiet and secluded. Our 24' motorhome fit perfectly in the driveway.」

「The cabin was perfect for my spouse, 17 yo daughter and dog. I loved reading next to the river and having space for my dog to play. The garage door wall of the kitchen opened up the space more and was great having all the fresh air. Kitchen was just right, the bedrooms and beds comfy too! We came up for a wedding and to detress without the fuss and this was a perfect spot. Town was a couple minutes away. Thank you for sharing your space with us!」

「We stayed here with extended family to tour monument valley, mesa verde and 4 corners. It was the right location to spend the night after the long monument valley drive and perfect for doing mesa verde. It has beautiful views and close to town. The pictures of the house are accurate. It needs some repairs..cracked tiles and mirrors, sidewalk and drive way deterioration causing tripping hazards …but the beds are comfortable and plentiful which is what we needed most. 「Clean, perfect location. Could have used some shower gel. There was only one small bar of soap for bathroom sink and shower. Coffee but no creamer or artificial sweeteners.
