The Honey Lodge (436761) is a secluded beautifully decorated log home with a great mountain and lake view only 2 miles from the middle of Hiawassee Georgia. 3 bedrooms 2 baths. King size master and full bath on main. 2 other bedrooms with queen beds. Full bath and washer and dryer downstairs with a second living area. Beautifully decorated. 3 Flatscreen TVs, cable, WIFI, 2 recliners, wood burning fireplace. Only a mile and a half from town. Beautiful hot tub on main level with view of Lake Chatuge and the mountains. Outdoor fire pit. Great view of Lake Chatuge and mountains of Brasstown Bald (tallest point is Georgia) If this home is not available check out one of our other properties on Vrbo.com. The cabin was fantastic -- especially the porch and hot tub with views over the mountains. The owner was helpful -- with useful information about the area and the cabin was nicely appointed. The drive up to the cabin was steep (for a flatlander like me!) -- but really worth the view!!

Amazing Stay

We loved the location (very quiet and secluded), cleanliness of the property, hot tub and the layout of the home. We had 3 adult kids with us and they had their own living space downstairs in case they didn’t want to watch the same movie as us. Karen was very responsive and offered great suggestions for local restaurants. We even extended our stay an extra night. We will be back to this property.

Such a wonderful trip with 3 best girl friends. Roomy but cozy, beautiful view, located close to town, and the hot tub was a plus. The drive on the way up can be steep, but we drove a Camry and did just fine. Karen was very kind, easy to get in touch with, and very thorough with instructions and recommendations. We will be back very soon!

Very nice home

I have been a VRBO customer for years and this was one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. The location was perfect. Accessibility was easy and it was just as described regarding the house. We would stay here again when in this area.

Cabin with privacy

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Location is great with privacy yet close to Hiawassee. The hot tub was an added bonus after getting back to relax. We did use the outdoor fire pit and grill. Firewood can be purchased very close to the cabin. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and one pet. We liked having the separate living quarters down stairs with the added bonus W&D. We also enjoyed going to Bell Mountain which is just a little farther uphill from the cabin. Best views of Hiawassee. We will be back hopefully in the fall.

We had an amazing stay at The Honey Lodge! The cabin was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with stunning views of Lake Chatuge and the mountains. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, hanging out on the deck, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Super close to town, but still felt totally private. Our pup loved it too! Easy check-in and everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

Wonderful relaxing getaway

We had the best time with our family, two teens and dog! The locations was peaceful and the view of mountains and lake below was the perfect spot! The cabin was clean and cozy just what we needed! Beds very comfortable! Our hosts were very responsive to any questions and gave us recommendations when needed! Close hiking to Bell mountain and short drive to hike to high schoals fall! A must see! Will definitely be back soon!

AMAZING cabin

Karen (the property owner) was exceptionally communicative and welcoming. The cabin was pristine, clean, and offered incredible amenities. Cannot say enough about how beautiful the neighborhood is along with the cabin itself. Will absolutely be booking again with Karen and anyone who wants an authentic mountain getaway should also!

Great mountain retreat with unparalleled view!

Everything was as presented. The home was very clean and had all the necessities needed. The host were very involved and accessible when needed. Loved the porch and hot tub. The place to get firewood was close by and great burning wood!. Kitchen pots and pans could use an inventory.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our first anniversary and it was super clean and accommodating. Located about 10 Min outside of town with a beautiful view of the mountains and lake (We stayed in January). Loved spending time in the hot tub taking in the views. Would 10/10 recommend.

Cabin in Hiawassee

This property was wonderful and everything I had wanted! It has a stunning view of Lake Chatuge and the surrounding mountains. I couldn't get enough of the view. This delightful cabin is very clean and the master is on the main floor. The host was great about getting back to me quickly with any questions that I had. I hope to be able to return to this property in the future and would highly recommend it.
