“This property is in a fantastic location with absolutely stunning views, which were the highlight of our stay. It has amazing potential and could be a really lovely place with a little investment. Unfortunately, the property is looking quite dated in terms of décor. There were paint chips in several places, the walls were looking grubby, and overall it felt like it was in need of some TLC. The TVs are also quite old, and upgrading them to smart TVs would really improve the experience. We……

“We had our entire family, including a son-in-law and grandson with us -- all eight! It was a great time for family connection. The entire space was excellent for the family meal together in one room, and the family room was perfect for evening games. Location was perfect with a view of the water, and location to all the best hiking on Skye. Everything worked great, and Alex was very attentive to a couple of needs during the stay!”

“Magnifique séjour en famille dans la maison de Kate. Une pause salutaire dans cette île si calme et hospitalière. Se réveiller le matin avec cette vue il n'y avait rien de plus beau. Merci à l'hôte pour sa serviabilité, c'était un plaisir.”

“I’d give it 10/10. It was clean, comfortable, perfect for a family, and the internet connection was very good. I’ll definitely be coming back next year!”

“Just Be Prepared. The place will grow on you if you stay for more than one day. There are ZERO instructions. You get a lock box code and a message that says which door the day you arrive. Host is slow to respond to messages. There are 3 towels. We washed our own daily to be sure we had some. There are no instructions for the washer or dryer. You will need to google them, because the dryer requires you to empty the lint filter AND a water filter to work and that was new for us. There is no……

“Clean place, good communication from host on checking in. Modern home. Kitchen excellent shape and with good set up. There's a parking space. It's on a quiet street, about a 20 minute walk to the City Centre. The photo on the advert is NOT the property - it's part of a duplex/townhouse and not directly on the water. I was entirely happy with my stay and don't really have any complaints. It's one of those places you won't brag about, but you won't be unhappy with it at all. If you have a……

“The Chalet was even better than we expected and Jenny and Carl are wonderful hosts. The setting (the water views and the sunset!!), the decor and the space were wonderful for our family of three (2 adults and one child). The kitchen and dining area is super and much larger than expected. We cooked breakfast every morning and had everything we needed. The location is excellent and very central to everything we wanted to do and see - it’s very easy to navigate to and from the Chalet. The living……

“House was reasonably clean and well appointed and comfortable. Poor communication from property as to how to check in, which house we were staying at etc.Thankfully the family staying on the other side helped us out. A bit of a far walk from city centre, but doable.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Very close to everything. Loved the hottub”

“Beautiful view! Our second time staying here. It’s cozy and enough room for more than the 6 of us. Neighbors are friendly. Area is convenient to Eileen Donan and Isle of Skye. We will return.”

“Beautiful house at a stunning location. Very clean, with everything you need. Beds are a bit short for people longer than 180cm. Everything else was great.”

“The house was perfect for our group of 6 friends. So warm and comfortable.Excellent location close to the city and sights. Just a little tricky to locate as it is behind No 18.”

“Beautiful property which is very well-equipped. The perfect location for exploring the Black Isle. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming 😊 thank you”

“This place is super cute and a quick walk to all the places we wanted to go. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Jill was a fantastic host, quick to respond and able to accommodate our check-in and check out requests. Highly recommend!”

“It was new and beautiful”

“Awesome spot! Quiet and cozy with a great view with easy access to all the tourist destinations. Absolutely lovely stay.”
