We loved our stay! It was small, but had enough room for our family of 5. It was nice and far from the main road so it was nice and quiet, but still close to the places we wanted to go. Would love to visit again.

A beautiful location, clean, easy to check in and communicate with owners. The view was astounding, although the cabin was closer to another house than anticipated. Primary complaint was just the overall quality of the cabin. It was cozy, but definitely cramped. No closet, bedroom with barely enough room to walk either side of the bed, and everything made of the same wood which made it a bit visually unappealing like a prefab. Still, shower and bathroom was good, they had dishes and utensils necessary, and a decent front porch to sit and see the mountains out front and cows that grazed by. Overall a pretty positive experience!

Freedom Ridge Cabins is the perfect place for a quiet, picturesque getaway. The cabins are individually named and are tiered up the mountain. Each cabin has a parking area, a small back deck with a picnic table, and a fire pit with seating around it, perfect for marshmallow roasting after dark. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for our needs.

15 mins from Mt Rushmore - great place!!!

Chace and Leslie are great hosts. The cabin was cozy and well equipped and supplied for my family of 5 (3 kids 7/7/4). The place has its own playground and view of nature/wild life. Plus this is a 15 mins drive to/from Mt Rushmore, and super close to Custer and Hill City.
