Nice place

Nice place to stay. Short walk to the beach and plenty of golf nearby. The house looked a little bit bigger in the pictures than real life but it wasn’t an issue.

Had the best time!

We loved our week at this property, it was so calm and restful. We swam nearly every day, the pool was absolutely perfect. The walk to the beach does take a minute but we rented a golf cart and tried to go during the cooler hours of the day. I fell in love with Hilton Head on this trip, I can’t wait to bring my family back.

Pool Is Amazing

Really enjoyed our stay, especially the pool. Heat worked great, which was necessary due to the weather. Played a lot of foosball with the kids, which was a nice bonus. Easy beach access as well.

Great stay near Folly Field Beach

Lovely, comfortable house that is a short walk to the beach. The pool is great for lounging and relaxation. The kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked meals, as well as an outdoor grill. Property manager responded promptly to a request we made. There was a good assortment of beach chairs, pool toys, etc. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good little house

We enjoyed the private pool, I think someone was in it every time we returned “home” from where ever we were. The house was clean and had some paper towels and things like garbage bags which was a very nice gesture. We were happy to find beach items too, towels, chairs and more which were perfect when you wanted to walk down to the beach. All in all it was a good little house, nothing extravagant, just what was needed.😊

Nice home, a few comments

We enjoyed our stay. Family room especially was very comfortable. The pool is incredible. On the negative side, the master bathroom shower is incredibly small - don’t drop the soap. The hall bath shower has black mold on the ceiling. My registered nurse daughter would not use it.

Great location, quiet neighborhood

The house was as described and in a great location, just a short walk and shorter bike ride to the beach. Management was very responsive when we had any questions or concerns. Only suggestion would be to add some lighting around the pool. There was a motion light, but it didn’t light the pool area very well and was hard to keep on, so aside from the light in the water, the pool/patio area was pretty dark at night

Enjoyed the pool very much.

The house is very dated. The shower in master bedroom is extremely small. The bathtub drain in the other bathroom is stuck in the open position. The house is acceptable but for the price we paid I believe it should have been a much better place.

Little Beach House on Folly Field

This property is very charming. It really isn't little, and has alot of space to stretch out. The horse was clean and had everything we needed for an extended stay. You could definitely fit more than 7 people in it if needed. It was also a very short walk to the beach with not a lot of traffic. Lots of local delivery options for food, including groceries. Close to great restaurants and shopping. The pool was nice, but the shade from the trees left the pool cold most of the time we were there. I think the pool could be heated year round due to that. The kids didn't care it was cold, but us adults would have preferred a warmer pool. We weren't going to pay $750 for it to be heated though. You can heat a pool for an entire year for that cost. The only other downside is a lot of the furniture coverings had stains on them and could use a revamping. Overall we would stay here again.

Hilton Head is not just for golfers

We selected this property because our son graduated from Marine Corps boot camp on Parris Island, and we wanted a place that was close enough for us to travel to and from, yet would allow him a space to decompress and relax after a grueling 13 weeks. The property did not disappoint. While not as close to Parris Island as other properties, this property provided privacy and quiet, while at the same time close proximity to the beach, shopping and excellent restaurants. If you happen to like golf, there are countless opportunities to do so. We selected this property in particular because of the solitude and private heated pool. One caution. If you are planning to stay in the fall, spring or winter months, make sure to inquire about the separate fee to heat the pool, as it wasn't listed in the ad when i made the reservation in the summer. There is plenty of room for large groups (including parking for multiple vehicles) and if you like to swim and BBQ this place delivers. Management was immediately responsive to all communications and the property is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend it.

Good location.

First off, the rental company was fantastic and super responsive. However, the house is pretty dated in the bathrooms and the primary shower is super small. The bedrooms are all on the smaller side too. The house was well stocked with utensils we needed, but we mostly packed lunches to the beach and went out for dinner. It is a short walk to the beach and there are chairs provided. The beach was pretty crowded compared to other places on the island. Only real complaint is that the upstairs is sweltering hot! We fought with the nest all weekend to try to cool it down. Our unfamiliarity with the nest probably contributed to the hassle. I suggest heating the pool in until at least mid June bc it doesn’t get light until afternoon. Overall, the house is ok. Maybe a bit overpriced but it was close to my conference. The rental company was fantastic though.

Solid Value close to the beach

The location was excellent, within an easy 2 block walk to the beach, and a very easy location to get around the island. The pool was an excellent addition and a great place to hang out and relax. The interior was mostly excellent. this isnt the most updated and sparkling house you'll see, as the carpets have many stains and the patio cushions are dirty (same as with previous reviewers) but the rooms and beds and interior furniture are clean and comfortable. The house is well stocked with kitchen gear (no spices, oil etc... so bring your own) but otherwise has everything we needed for a 4 day stay. Overall this is a solid value house for a small family stay.

Think twice before booking

We found this property to be run-down and shabby. The pictures in the listing look nice, but the reality is something less than that. The dishwasher was broken for the entire week of our stay, pots and pans available were not adequate to cook much, the outdoor furniture cushions were stained and moldy, the screened in porch needed a good pressure washing, the pergola over the entrance was moldy. The pool was unusable for 3 days of our stay (one was due to a tropical storm) and the pool cleaning vendor was apparently either overworked or too short staffed to meet demand. The kitchen ceiling leaked around the light fixture (2 service calls could not determine the source) so we couldn’t use the light. On the good side, it was convenient to the beach, had plenty of parking, and the rental company was responsive to texts.
