We arrived and had to repair two of the beds because they had slats that were broken. All mattresses were excessively worn and needed replacing. Paint was peeling under the exterior windows. Furniture in main living room was adequate but one chair was broken. Everything about this home is dated and the walls need painting. Rat dropping were found around the trash can in kitchen. We have stayed in Beach Properties rentals before and always looked for your properties because we trusted your name to have a quality property. We paid over $20000 dollars for a run down property. Very disappointing. We will no longer look to rent with Beach Properties.

Initial issues reported resolved, fantastic views of the ocean and comfortable

The location of the house is wonderful, steps from the beach with great views from much of the house. We didn't use the pool because it was too cold, but it looked inviting. There were a couple of initial issues such as the welcome email with instructions on how to obtain the code never showed up (not in spam either). Additionally, the cleaners had left a door unlocked because it was hard to lock, put together the freezer basket incorrectly so the fridge had an alarm that kept going off and the freezer did not get cold until fixed the following day. The ice maker in the kitchen along with the ice maker in the fridge never produced much ice so we just went and bought some. There were a few other small issues, but since the coffee maker and the TVs worked great - no big deal! The appliances and overall interior are dated but overall the house is comfortable. The house is MUCH larger inside than you expect and can almost get lost down one wing of the house! We basically experienced four seasons the 5 nights we were there and we were comfortable. Biggest knock (outside the welcome email) was construction right next door every day. We did notice quite a few houses having construction done in the area, this can't be helped and it's the season to prepare for summer, but it did put a damper on sitting outside or cracking a door/window to listen to the surf. With that said, we just went to the beach and walked to get away from the noise.

Excellent location and great layout for large group

We really enjoyed our stay at this home that is steps from the beach and has a great layout for a large group of people with many gathering areas. Lots of beach chairs, games including ping-pong and AirHockey, and bikes. The house has some wear and tear and needs new mattresses on the beds , but otherwise a great vacation spot.

Great vacation!

Two families, with 8 children total, stayed here and we had more than enough room for everyone! The house is huge, great views and easy to get to the beach. My only negative would be kitchen appliances and supplies. The appliances are outdated and weren't always the temp they said...resulting in burnt or under cooked food, until we figured it out. The supplies for the most part are plentiful. More than enough plates, wine glasses, etc. However the pots and pans are much smaller than you would expect in a house for 12. For example, we could only make about 4-5 servings of scrambled eggs at a time with the pans we had. A bonus we were not expecting ...the large capacity ice maker! Overall, would certainly stay again and recommend.

Great Location needing Much TLC!

Quite a few shortcomings for this level of property. Not the level of rental l expected for beachfront or price point based on the listing. Windows were really filthy ruining any beach view from Greatroom without us cleaning them, door lock to deck broken-security and access issue, master carpet a total mess and big trip hazard, main door lock inconsistently operable- so had to use garage to enter/exit home. The trees around the pool are very dirty/ leaves constantly in pool and deck always dirty. Deck is very old and your feet are filthy if you don’t wear shoes. The kitchen is old, pantry and other cabinets falling apart and everything was strewn throughout cabinets- nothing in order and most things had to be re-washed on arrival. The dryer was so loaded with lint in the vent we had to take it apart and clean it to dry anything. A rental not ready for Prime time.. The yard and exterior needed a cleanup as well. Plastic bottles and debris around the yard. Also, the WiFi password provided by management company was wrong. When I contacted her about lock, windows, carpet, she was defensive so I dropped it. We paid for pool heat- it was heated but pool lights and other controls were disconnected.. Not a star property.

The view is magnificent

The view is amazing. The appliances and beds need an upgrade. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool is great.
