Great stay for the price and location!

This home was beautifully decorated and just a short drive or walk to the beach. After we worked with Lorie from Vacasa and the property owner to remedy the air conditioning situation, our stay was very pleasant! I would highly recommend this unit!

Very Clean

Very nice condo with plenty of room. The only downside was the temperature on the second floor was very uncomfortable.

Short beach stay

I booked a last minute trip to HHI and was surprised to find home last minute. The price was good the home was nice and clean. The third room was very small but good for the kids. The air didn't work upstairs but they had ceiling fans and two small fans to use. The downstairs was too cold but over all the house was nice.

This unit could be a nice 2 bedroom, not a 3 bedroom. The 3rd bedroom does not have a vent for ventilation, The room is the size of a walk in closet. The unit needs some TLC. There seemed to be water damage in the living room. Also, there was a problem with palmetto bugs. I would not recommend.

Great home.

Kitchen had all the essentials. Bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice. Family room had tons of space with plenty of comfortable seating. Would definitely stay here again.

AC an issue

Though it's nicely decorated and well equipped (and I love Shipyard), I would not stay here again due the a/c really not strong enough to cool the upstairs. Even in early June, it was too hot upstairs. Everyone was uncomfortable sleeping except for the person on the sofa bed downstairs (where it was cold). Needed at the minimum some additional fans. Also the bunk room is not really a room, but a closet. It's not big enough for teens. It's fine for small children.

Tranquility at the Shipyard

Super nice place! Great location just a 1/2 mile from the beach so rent bikes and ride! Pool is 10 steps away! The accommodations were very comfortable!

HHI weekend getaway

Very spacious, lovely home. It was a bit hot upstairs but we were mostly at the beach so didn't really matter. There were extra fans so we made it work. The rear porch was nice and secluded.

Dryer dirty, missing blinds

Washer was working well. The dryer had so much sand in it from previous people that we were unable to use it at all. Sand literally sits on the walls of the dryer. Many blinds are broken and non functional in every room. Matress and pillows are not comfortable at all. Location is great and the area but the condo needs improvement.

Private vaca getaway

Be prepared

Do not rent this property until it has been cleaned and spruced up. Porches are overgrown, need to be pressure washed badly, had to instruct the cleaning crew to clean sinks (soap scum thick in the drain), dishes dirty in the cupboards, cobwebs that have never been removed - I have pictures as proof. Do not believe the advertising for extra thorough cleaning.

Nice Location

Nice location, quiet. The pool was closed the entire time, the dryer broke, and the unit needs a deep clean.
