"The location couldn’t get any better. Steps from the Main Street of old town St Charles where all the shops and restaurants are. Quiet neighborhood with a walking trail on the water. House is adorable. Lots of places to sleep. The downstairs bed was very comfy. Even the pillows were great! Shuffleboard is a bonus for the kids. Had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. "

"As mentioned in all reviews, the location is THE best! We stayed there during the 4th of July festival and were right in the middle of the action. BUT with the old thick brick walls when we shut the door all the noise was muted, not to zero, but low enough that it was no big deal. Bed was comfortable, the place was spotless, you get your own parking spot too. Could not recommend higher! -Matt"

"The property was very clean! A beautiful home inside and out! Parking around back was great! Just a walk away from downtown witch was great to walk downtown. We loved looking all of the old buildings downtown! There is stuff to do at the house if you are bot wanting to go out and about! Communication with home owner was very easy and responsive! "
"The location was great, once we parked our car we never had to leave all weekend. Tons of shopping and wonderful restaurants just steps away. This is above a very popular bar, which was fine for us but if you have younger kids you may want something more quiet. There were doritos in the pull out sofa, other than that it was great. Parking seems to be an issue but it is a VERY popular area on the weekends so beware you may have to drive a bit to find parking. Definitely would stay again, and some of the people with us on this stay have already booked and stayed there over NYE, they had a great time. "
