The stay was amazing! Even though there were a few problems, the staff, especially K, fixed the issues. Location in the Korean part of town was perfect. Highly recommend.

Quiet hotel in District 7

Comfortable small hotel in a quiet and relaxed part of HCMC (most of the city is neither quiet nor relaxed). Good, functional rooms with all you need for short stays. Even laundry (but not ironing) is included in the room price. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood. Feels more like Singapore than Vietnam (in a positive way).

Basement room is OK

Golden Tree has been my go-to place in District 7 for many yesrs. Good location, much more peaceful than anything in the more central parts of HCMC, functionsl rooms. This time I stayed in one of the basement apartments. They are a bit bigger than the regular rooms, but the lack of direct daylight is a minus. Had to go get an umbrella a couple of times when I realized that it was raining. In a regular room I would have known right from scratch.

I had a fantastic experience at the Golden Tree Hotel during my recent SECC business trip. Despite the affordable price, the comfort provided was exceptional. The cozy accommodations ensured a relaxing stay after long conference hours. The hotel's convenient location near the SECC venue was a major plus, saving me travel time. The attentive staff and well-maintained rooms added to the overall positive experience. I'm impressed by the value for money and definitely plan to return for my next business trip. Highly recommended for its affordability, comfort, and proximity to SECC.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to see a staff that actually care about their rating. But the Internet connection was not reliable, although the WIFI signal was good but . Too often the Internet connection was disrupted even at night.

We had a great time at the Golden Tree Apartment and will definitely come back. The staff were really nice, leaving fresh towels and water at our door so we weren't disturbed. The hotel's location is perfect, close to everything we needed. It's a quiet and nice place, perfect for relaxing and exploring around. Highly recommend it for a peaceful stay. When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly and I loved the smell of the lobby, a lovely inviting scent. Room had a little balcony, we kept the air conditioner at a chilly 18’C, had a little kitchen with hot top, sink, mini-fridge, and kettle. The hotel is in a very nice location, a short walk to “Little Seoul” which has a lot South Korean shops, restaurants, and convenience markets. More chill than the bustling District 1 (Tourist) and District 2 (Expats). The area has plenty of food options and even though we wanted to extend our stay but they were booked, so we found their sister hotel and extended our stay there. We’ll see you again!

Location: The Golden Tree Hotel is fantastically situated in a very safe and walkable neighborhood. It's easy to explore the local area on foot, with numerous attractions, cafes, and shops just a short stroll away. Safety: I felt extremely secure during my stay. The hotel's surroundings are well-lit at night, and there's always a sense of community vigilance, making it an ideal choice for solo travelers or families. Value for Money: One of the best aspects of the Golden Tree Hotel is its pricing. It offers a great balance between quality and affordability. The rooms are reasonably priced, considering the amenities and the location, making it excellent value for money. Rooms: The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. They maintain a cozy atmosphere with all the necessary modern conveniences. The beds are particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Service: The staff at Golden Tree Hotel are friendly, helpful, and speak good English, which made communication seamless. They were always ready to assist with directions, local advice, or any requests. Was a satisfying stay at Golden Tree. The listing exactly matched the hotel so we knew what to expect. The room was comfortable and the staff was helpful. There is no breakfast included in the stay, but that's actually a good thing in my opinion - within walking distance you can find a LOT of places to drink and eat so that gave us the opportunity to explore the local cuisine. And most of those places were open by 6am so there really was no issue with food nearby no matter when we woke up.

I stayed here to visit an exhibition at SSEC. It is located 40-50 minutes from the airport. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area, and convenience stores and supermarkets are within walking distance. I had no trouble with breakfast. The room was generally clean and had the minimum amenities. I could hear some noise from the neighboring room, but it was relatively quiet.

The building is really beautiful and the room was good too. We were pretty late because of our delayed flight ( coming at 3 am ). But they waited for us to check in. The room was clean and the room's view was good too. There's a little balcony and you can ask for cleaning every day. We enjoyed the stay although there's no breakfast, you can order anything on your phone by apps and there's a lot of spa, restaurants and coffee near the place. Unfortunately it's a bit far away from every tourists posts. You need to take a taxi or use Grab app. Otherwise everything was good.

I really love my basement room — it turned out bigger than I thought. What I enjoy most is the quiet. If I come back, I’ll definitely pick this room again. The bath towels are a little old, and I wish they provided hand or wash towels. Hopefully the hotel updates them soon. But overall, it still deserves my 5 stars.
