I stayed in the charming Austen Room at Book Village Inn in mid-September for a wedding weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! The space is utterly delightful with thoughtful literary touches that make it feel both cozy and elegant.The setting was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the early fall foliage creating a gorgeous tapestry of colors around the property. The mountain views and autumn scenery made every moment feel like stepping into a storybook - it was the perfect backdrop for a special weekend getaway.The firepit and live music created such a lovely atmosphere for evening relaxation, and I was delighted to find thoughtful snacks waiting in the room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring great rest between wedding festivities.What truly made this stay exceptional was the host - incredibly attentive, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process. The local recommendations and helpful resources/guides at the property were invaluable! I was able to explore the area and enjoy all that the beautiful Catskills has to offer in between wedding events, making the weekend even more memorable.This charming retreat perfectly combines comfort, natural beauty, and exceptional hospitality. It's ideal for special occasions or peaceful getaways. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical escape!
