Wonderful guesthouse.
Great guesthouse. Beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds. Very nice town and wonderful location. Helpful staff. Loved the breakfast!

In a class of its own.
It was wonderful. It should be ranked first in the guidebooks. Rooms nice, community sitting and dining room was awesome, great communal kitchen and good free washer/dryer. We stayed in many guesthomes on our 2-week driving trip all over Iceland, and this was the best.

Absolutely fantastic Guesthouse!! It had everything we needed for our brief stay along the Ring Road. We loved the breakfast and tray of meat and cheese just for us. We met some lovely people. And we were grateful for the access to a washer and dryer! Great hospitality!!

South, East and West Iceland trip
When in Höfn, make hour reservation in this place. Beautiful and cozy place witb extraordinary helpful and easy-going owner. You will love it! There is a nice new kitchen so that you can cook yourself and you can also have tea from tasty variety of them or coffee from DeLonghi coffeemaker. All free of charge and delicious! The owner pays strict attention to how the place looks like and it is well-mantained. You will just see

I thought the owner of the establishment was very kind and she even let us stay a little bit past checkout time in order to be able to finish our laundry cycle.

Very helpful host. Much to see and do in the area, including local hot baths 2 minute walk away. Restaurants, supermarket, liquor store, area information all nearby. Town is pleasant to walk in.

Cute little guest house
Cute little guest house, shared bathroom. Very small room with a view of the ocean. Shared bathroom was not my preference but a great place other than that. Awesome breakfast.

The property was very clean, room, kitchen and shared bathroom. There was plenty of space in the room. The location is great, within 2 minutes of Netto supermarket and a few excellent restaurants by the harbour.

We were lucky enough to be the only guests of the night so we had the entire gorgeous house to ourselves. The property manager is very polite, kind, and knowledgeable about this amazing small town. If we ever travel to Iceland again we will be staying at this fantastic site again.

Great central location, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen, beautiful common room with large windows, little balcony, slept really well! Common kitchen area where you can cook a full meal and store food in the fridge. Shared bathroom was clean, with a shower and a bathtub. Room had everything I needed. Centrally located so you can walk to restaurants, grocery store, ATM, etc.

This was a clean and comfortable property. The owner/manager was friendly. The shared bath did not pose a problem. We had 2 of the 3 rooms that shared a bathroom on the 2nd floor. I believe the 2 rooms on the ground floor shared a different bathroom. I would stay again.

Old airline guesthouse was one of the cleanest places I stayed during my trip to Iceland! The owner is kind and helpful. It felt nice and homey! Definitely recommend.

Not dark, not quiet
The place was very clean and the host was very nice but the room did not get dark (huge deal for an Iceland summer) and the walls are very thin. I could hear the person next door making noise and the cell phone upstairs buzz ALL NIGHT LONG. The washer and dryer for a small fee were great but the dryer took forever which was a pain. The bathroom was nicely updated but I've learned I'm not a shared bathroom person. Breakfast was sufficient although if the place was full, if you didn't get there early you would miss out as there is no one there to refill once things are gone.

Based on our travel, we were up for 36 hours straight and completely exhausted when we arrived. The owner of the house was so amazing and accommodating. She got us settled in immediately! the rooms are so cute and comfy. We woke in the morning and saw a beautiful scene of ocean and mountain. I cannot say enough good things about this properly and Hofn! We LOVED it!
